HOW TO ACTUALLY FIX GRAY-ZONE WARFARE FPS! (out-of-game settings)

- Hey! Today I found a few things out-of-game settings that will ensure that Gray-Zone doesn't run off your CPU alone, and shares the load with the GPU like it should... hoping I'm able to help a few people with these tricks.
Just a few minor settings to change :)

The icon is a Little blue bear because that's the icon for the Anti-Cheat program the game uses.

How in the world do you play this on a laptop
@barefootbreezy6983 are you kidding 1440p epic settings, full max, way over 60fps no issues at all fluid play, 4050rtx. 750$ Laptop
@@Bugthehollywoodpug if you’re running at 60 fps that means you’re dropping to 30-40 when your in 4x scope or above… might want to check on that

Now i can play 4k High with 60fps on my R7 2700x and 3060ti, Therefore they were about 20 with FullHD on Low Settings

Since it's unreal you need to add an exception for DEP in the windows security if i remember correctly, it's been a while but helped me a lot with unreal and cryengine games. I forget if it's DEP or another setting but there should be plenty of threads available for UE/cryengine games that will stop windows from causing hitches, stutters and low fps, etc.

@@Hez47 real talk the only one in control of that sadly is the developers. we can try things, but at the end of the day if they dont fix it, the only other option is a cpu from the year 2045.

mad finger HELP!!! i have a rtx 4070 and i cant play because your game is trying to burn down my CPU. Also your game doesnt appear in the Nvidia control panel. PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP!!!

How do we do this with AMD ?
These settings helped me go from 60 fps to 110 fps. Thank you, because i have watched a lot of videos looking for the best settings for my pc and finally found something that works

I’ll do a bit is research on that for you brother. Can’t guarantee that this will work but it’ll definitely help the CPU not taking such a heavy load.

If you click “add” and then search for the .exe in the gzw game files you should be able to add it that way.

Could be an idea to try Add Grayzone launcher specifically in the Nvidia settings.
And make sure that those windows settings are changed as they’re pretty crucial.
I can do another test today to try find a new solution for you.

What fixed for me was going to safe mode and removing graphics drivers and reinstalling gpu drivers and doing those settings
Did the same for me i had to re launch the app and it did the trick dont ask me nothing else thats all i did lol

I agree, seems to help just changing those easy windows settings. Not a bad idea to do the nvidia though... I'll take anything to assist the game running smoother.
@@Hez47 I just dont fancy the card running max clocks for virtually no benefit since electricity is kinda pricey from time to time and the control panel uses all cuda gpus automatically anyway.

wow you found setting I never heard of. ... wait these are old as control panel itself nothing new ;-) and without any proof and you didn´t show a proof, its nothing. and to be nice, these settings are obsolete since ages.

Nvidia settings does NOT do anything to your performance . Wait for better optimized patches or upgrade to a better pc that can run the game fine
You can boost your fps in some games with nvidia settings yes

Been running my 1913900k up to 90 degrees when it's never hit 65 on any other game! Hope this works
