Designed by Michelle Berwick, in collaboration with Custom CADD Architects and Alair Homes, Michelle takes us on a tour of the home's bright open spaces with soaring floor-to-ceiling windows, custom metal work and a show-stopping staircase with glass railing. It’s an ode to minimal design with maximum views of the homeowner's beloved barn, and a peacock or two!

Really enjoying this designer's work generally on this channel. Those iron shelves could have been a miss but they are beautifully styled with interesting pieces..... a bold step away from the norm.

i dont know why, but this looks like a commercial building to me. doesn't look like a house at all. kind of an apple store or something like that.

Love the texture black tile on the fireplace. Are you able to share the name of it?
It is difficult to determine if the designer dislikes her own work based on her facial expressions and tone of voice. While it is unsettling, it could also indicate honesty. It remains unclear whether she truly hates the design or if she is simply indifferent toward it.

Nice job, but if they swapped out the kitchen counter chairs to wood, but in a very cool modern shape it would look a lot better. At the moment those stools just look cold and industrial and actually cheapen the look of the place. Get rid of them…..
Love the interior. I think it's very thoughtfully & tastefully designed. I absolutely love the minimalism and elegance. However, there is such a disconnect between the main residence and the farm. This is so owner specific. I also think that the bed in the middle of the main suite is a huge eye sore and not practical at all. It's the first thing that I would tear down. Hopefully, this family plans to never sell the home. IMO, the designers did an excellent job of honoring their client's requests and creating a beautiful home.
To me, it’s not what we know as a farmhouse style. It’s a house ON a farm

The music is so loud I hardly was able focus on what she was saying.
I hope that clean shoes/ slippers would be allowed when you enter the house.., since it’s a farmhouse.. coz most houses now you have to remove shoes…
Forgive me for being a stickler for words. This feels like an average contemporary home. I don’t see the modern part of it. There was nothing that visually pointed towards the 1950s, 1970s design aesthetic especially with the use wood. Very nice 21st century style home. Hated the wall in the bedroom but to each their own.

Not very cozy for a farm,
The detail job of this is worse than some of the work I see in the debts of Eastern Europe. Everything seems crooked and not polished as of finishing touches. It is frustrating even just looking at it on the video. I have no idea who would pay to live like that.
