The title of Sunday's sermon by Pastor David Haley is, "Why I Am United Methodist." The scripture lesson is Ephesians 2:8-10. I started out in life and in ministry as a Baptist. After a number of years in ministry I was drawn to the United Methodist Church where I found a holistic, practical, and authentic expression of the Christian faith that is rooted in the Scriptures. We will explore three of the emphases that God used to bring me to Methodism: grace, good works, and connection.
