I drove a semi in the 90s,came north off of Jellico Mt. and my brakes failed.Was a quick and interesting ride to the bottom.Thank God traffic wasn't what it is now

I've gone through the area all year long many times. It's well lit, maintained, has every painted yellow line que you could ask for, and all signs are very visible. It's not even very high. The Road traverses an area known for mild winters. It's nothing. Go west or on the East Coast during winter if you want to see areas to worry about

I go by there often. It's the highest elevation of the Appalachian Mountains off I-75.

I drive this every work day.... From LaFollette home to Jellico
This stretch of I-75 is horrible with potholes. I hate it!
I always get nervous driving through the mountains.
