People complaining about directors being here, I can't speak for all of them but Chris Buck and Meledandri are both long time animators who were given the opportunity to direct. These are in fact animators who went on to learn every aspect of the pipeline. Chris Bucks animation is so fantastic

Where were the "animators"? I just saw directors and producers. How about you meet the people who get their hands dirty (in a virtual sense).

Technically Miyazaki would be the only person actually qualified enough to be there as he's the director, animator and producer all in one. And he's a friggin genius.

I wish THR did like a late night round table with like kimmel, fallon, handler, clobert and/or stewart, fergusion.

WHY are producers at an Animator's round-table? they're two different jobs requiring two completely different skills. . . It's like asking the owner of a restaurant to come and talk about how the steak was made. . . wouldn't you rather hear that from the chef him/herself. . . ?

Uh, I fucking hate how these people's mentality on killing off characters. It's exactly as I imagined. "If we can make more money off of a sequel, let's not kill anyone as much or less sense as that makes..."

All really good movies, even Epic was really good. Its only big flaw was its name, which just sucks b*lls. It has nothing to do with the movie and makes it look like some dumb parodic movie like "Scary Movie" or "Epic Movie", which it obviously is not.

I agree. Such profound themes...wish they had marketed it better.
