Broooooo, why is the story of mushoku tensei so fucking gooooood. I can't get it out of my head and each time I come to finish the story I can't help but feel utterly empty inside
damn it the lara farewell was making me sad but when rudy said i might not see lara again in my lifetime i broke and cried a little, im absolutely in love with mushoku tensei ever since i saw the trailer for the anime in 2019 i knew i was going to love this anime but never expected it to have such an impact on me!
I loved the journey and I hope there'll be a sequel series in the future on the kids but with this I'd still be satisfied if there wasn't anything else after this. This series was amazing and I'll always remember all the emotions and impact that it left on me. I will always remember Mushoku Tensei as a goat.
My shonen bro brain is still just unsatisfied that all of this is building and building towards a conflict that 1.) We might not ever see (though we probably will) 2.) The person who built all of this won't be there for it. I don't need Rudy to be THE hero. But the fight with Laplace without him just feels unfinished to me. To me it felt like the series was hitting its stride in the last 1/4 and then it was just over. This author did a phenomenal job with characters and committing to a foreign moral code that is different than ours. Builds Rudy to be a great person. Which is the real point of the story. Not fighting. The point was turning Rudy into a good man. And that was accomplished. I understand that... But I'm just still disappointed that Rudy won't be there for that battle. And I'm mad we didn't get to bask in his accomplishments longer when we spent all that time Watchung him fail.

I wanted then to go casual labyrinth diving once as a team of four. Rudeus with mk3 magic armour and Eris as vanguards and sylphy as healer + support and roxy as rearguard. Sometimes only Eris as vanguard and roxy and rudeus as support dps and sylphy as healer casually clearing the most difficult dungeons. There was one mentioned with over 250 floors the most difficult to clear dungeon in divine continent. Maybe they could have made a record of 200 floors where others barely made 100 without any trouble and then retreat. All of which would be a casual stroll for the most part and hence fit in redundancy chapters. Roxy made a promisewith rudeus acter Paul's death and before her marriage to go labyrinth diving and sylphy was also supposed to become a famous labyrinth diver in the future without rudeus and also Eris is always craving that adventure. Why didn't we get even 3 paragraphs of that?
Damn, man.. Rudeus suffered just like Roxys parents when shr dipped for decades.. This story has consumed me. Ever since I 1st started reading the manga back in 2020, I knew I was onto something special. So, I read the WN and was absolutely gobsmacked. Then, the anime finally arrived while i was continuing the slow manga, then the reedited LN, now these chapters. I find myself listening/reading the epilouge chapter over and over, sad at this stories ending. Saf that Rudy will never fight in the final battle against Hitogami, sad that he died with none of his kids there just his wives and grandkids and good friend, Orsted, sad that even through this greatness, his kids saw themselves as worthless in his eyes, sad about Eris passing, sad that Sylphi will probably be the last one alive of them all, but, overall, happy that such a story exists and happy that Orsted Finally has a loop where he isnt feared and hated by all. Honestly, i would Love a pov chapter from Orsteds perspective after Rudeus death and how he felt about him. Even a pov from Perugius and Nanhoshi's fate in the future. I'll be buying the physical copies of manga And LN when all works are complete.

After i read all mushoku tensei Redundancy and oblige aswell while i love the stories one thing i dont like at least rudeus must be more selfish when it comes to kids. l know it will be out of character but still he should at least work on a phone so he can keep in touch with all the children and visit them when he wants via teleportation circles.Coming home after giving away one daughter and finding out your never gonna see the other one should have caused an anger not just him roxy too they should have scolded her give her damn phone and teleportation circle to settle so rudeus can see her once in 6 months or something like that instead of i understand by which they dont. lf lara is not gonna regret her decision at least not keeping in touch then the whole character is trash
I enjoyed the story only thing I hate is the end of vol 24. When he just faded away. I'd like to believe he would be reincarnated again and go on with his memory some how. Instead of just fading away. Even if he could just stay in the room with the god man and everytime he tried to recruit people he could just speak up and say.. Hay don't trust this guy. He's a prick. Lol that would be a better ending than fading away. Oh well hopefully the light novel will change the ending.
