      The power play on telling Kevin he was out when Kevin gave him a ridiculous offer was what showed the Sharks he was confident. Match confidence with sales, great margins, patents, a product that works, and a vision for the future, and he had the rest of the Sharks eating out of his palm.

    • @Envy_Dragon

      It was pretty incredible how they were playing it up like "lmao sponges, this is one for the laugh reel, let's make fun of him" and then Lori goes "I'm in. You NEED me on your side," and everyone else is suddenly falling over themselves to go "uhhh haha we were just playing around, right? how's this deal"

    • @volundrfrey896
      @volundrfrey896 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@AidanS99 Nah it's true that cleaning products is a huge market but it's the brand recognition that gets the money rolling in. This wasn't a pitch for a better sponge, it was a pitch for a better marketed sponge. To make it big in the sponge business you either need to undercut everyone else in price and move huge volumes (generic store brands) or become a household name.

      I think it’s has to deal with less of whether or not she sees a good company/product but more due to the fact when it comes to products she’s the queen of getting them out there and making people want them. None of these deals would have been as big if anyone else picked them up, Lori knows her shit she knows her target market with QVC and she has a routine that works globally with any product. Some of the products I see on QVC are trash, complete fucking garbage, but it’s marketed to me as something’s that’s cheaper than it should be and “why not, it might come in handy”.

    The Hogwash reminds me of one of the first videos of Charlie (Moistcr1tical) that I’d ever seen. He did voiceovers of Anthony “Sully” Sullivan’s infomercials and the first one I saw was the Hogwash. I still go back and watch that video to this day, it is so funny

    I’m not gonna lie I use the scrub daddy and it does pretty much everything. He says it is a good product and that is from personal use. I have nothing bad to say about it. I don’t know all the things behind it but it is like 90% effective, it’s good stuff. I have one on my countertop right now and I have three ready to go. It doesn’t do everything, but it does more than most. This deserves to be where it’s at.

    Daymond is the worse shark hands down besides maybe a few quest appearances. Being a successful business person doesn't automatically make you a shark. Besides owning FUBU what other credentials did he have? Sharks should be investors in multiple projects. Should all be about investments and negotiation skills.
