Hello Neighbor 2 is the sequel to the popular stealth horror game about sneaking into your creepy neighbor's house. You play as a local journalist investigating missing persons reports when you follow a series of clues leading you back to the abandoned house of The Neighbor. Only problem is, it's occupied by a mysterious crow-like being. The only logical thing to do is break in. Welcome back to Raven Brooks.

I can't lie, I was quite disappointed with how their AI works. Rather than them doing things around the houses and being smart like in the alphas of the first game, they have predetermined paths made by the developers. Half the time they don't even react to smashing windows and such.
i hate to break it to you but them “being smart” around the house was also a predetermined path made by the developers, the only difference here is that it loops which isn’t even that noticeable by the player 😭
Bro why do people like you care about the alphas so much? The ai in alphas were kind of buggy hello neighbor 2 ai is way better
@@b5303 Yeah, you're not wrong. However I'm not referring to the things such as watching the TV, watering the plants, drinking milk from the fridge and such, I'm taking more about the reactions to what the player does. Smash a window? Bear trap placed beneath it, smash it again and move the bear trap? Camera set up and the window boarded up. Player keeps using the same door to get inside? Door gets blocked by a chair. Quite literally every one of these was dumbed down for the full release of the first game, and outright removed from the second game.
@@StefanGamerFX Don't get me wrong, the alphas were indeed very buggy, but they showed real promise for what the game could have become. The second game feels fully scripted half the time. The AI doesn't even bother to chase you half the time, and they constantly stop running at you and just stand still, which can be observed if you run backwards away from them. This is unlike in the first game where Mr. Peterson would charge at you full sprint. Look, 2016 was an amazing year that birthed an amazing and unique alpha for a game that sadly ended up being awful on release, you can't blame me for being disappointed that the Neighbor games have become massively mediocre.
