Great account! I have a question though, why do you use the bubblehelm for ranged instead of the coronet?

Because Bumble helm has more hp than the coronet. Our guild and I especially value walkbacks. Also, more hp can sometimes actually cause more increase in damage than the same amount of atk. Still investigating on what conditions it occurs though.

If bumblehelm is not used for cav blast, it’s definitely better replacement for coronet in a range blast. (10% hp vs 3% atk.)

If the enemy is using 866, which comp will you use for attacking? And, how do you think about using 866?
Resently, I think 866 is very good comp...
I think 866 cav phal can win 424 types rng & cav phal and 866 inf phal can win 884 all phalanxes.

I'd also like to know why you're using those familiars when you use 866.

I'd maybe do 758 rng phal with gryphon, jade, trickstar to deter cav phal and if 866 uses rng phal 758 would win most likely.
866 is good in dealing with a weaker opponent as they won't have many options, but the use is quite limited against a stronger opponent.
The familiars I use for 866 is specifically for a weaker opponent to be prevented from beating me.

Thanks for sharing. I noticed you don't use the 600% familiar as much as other leads. Have you done all the testing and have concluded that these familiar set ups were better?

That's a good point. The familiars in the battalion is just temporary. I do different familiar line-up during fight quite often. And yes 750% usually do better than 600% ones based on tests. But situations that 600 do better do exist from testing and also if you think about how they work. you could say that for example, for 974 it's better to have 750 and 600 for inf instead of 750 both for inf or ranged.

Hello Crystal, In a 424 rally in range phalnx, vs 424 rally in range phalnx, I am using 3 600% familiers, bunny and grypoon. is that compltely okay or do I need to replace blackwing in place of frostwing? which will do a good damage?

Since pact 5 damage is directly proportional to the troop count blackwing will not do much damage. So I advise you to change that to inf or cav 750% pact 5 which ever you got higher atk stat.

Can u show ur 884gear? I wander to know if u use the snowbeast or champion hand, in my test, champion hand is more good than snowbeast in 884 comp

currently i don't have 442 gear because low cav can make it vulnerable to inf heavy comp. I do 442 variant with 424 mixed gear. Also your familiars do matter quite a lot in whether champ offhand is better than snowbeast.

is there a reason for no t2 sacrifice troops in rng blast?

In castle rally we use less rng blast so t4 rng is sometimes much more than other troop types. And that's why I didn't feel the need for the sacrifice
