Something you have always impressed me with is the sense of character each of your songs has. And I think it is especially true when you contrast this song's kindness, hope, and slight insecurity with Raven's song's defiance and determination which covers up a long-term feeling of hopelessness. Amazing job! Edit: Another thing I just noticed are the themes connecting Raven and Starfire (and possibly the rest of the titans). Raven's song says "I don't deserve you", while Starfire's asks "Am I enough to deserve your love?". The difference in how they look at their self worth speaks volumes.

"It has a charming lyric, but it gets lost in excess and imbalance" is how I would summarize the song. I don't have much to say about the lyrics; they fulfill their purpose. I'm not familiar with Starfire's story, so I can't say whether the lyrics make sense with the character or not, so I won't delve into that. The theme revolves around love, gratitude, and the fear of losing something precious. This theme is consistent throughout the verses and the chorus, which effectively conveys the message. If I only analyze the lyrics, the music is nice, but a song is not just the lyrics. Honestly, I don't think the style of the music fits the lyrics well. To me, these lyrics would be much better suited as a love song. The beat of this song is upbeat, which to some extent makes sense with the theme of love, but when it comes to the fear of loss, the beat remains cheerful, creating a strange contrast. Even when the beat calms down (2:14 - 2:44) to emphasize the 'pain,' the chorus comes in afterward to break the mood. Speaking of the chorus, to me, that was the most problematic part of the song: And all this time we spent together I close my eyes and hope you never regret me My happy place, oh Flying up, thanking stars above All my luck was spent on you Am I enough to deserve your love? Now my heart it burns anew Don't wake me up If I'm dreaming, oh Don't wake me up (falsetto) If I'm dreaming, oh Firstly, because of the repetition. Seriously, 1 minute and 57 seconds of the song was you repeating this part, more than 56% of the song was you singing this part. Why, honestly? I would remove one of the choruses; personally, I would remove the last one and end the song on a more melancholic note, but if you wanted to end it on a happier note, then just remove one of the first two, it doesn't matter which, after all, only 22 seconds separate one from the other and in those 22 seconds, 7 were in silence with a bass blasting in my ear. Speaking of which brings me to my second problem with the chorus, the beat is too loud (especially the bass). I don't know if it was intentional or a mixing error, but the beat in the chorus is too loud; it felt like a fight, your voice vs. the beat, to see who would prevail. Seriously, it felt like your voice was in the background while the beat was in the foreground. Speaking of sound, what's the need for that part (1:07 to 1:14)? The bass was already loud in the chorus, but in these 7 seconds, you were silent and made it even louder, no joke, it felt like someone was punching my ear. I wouldn't recommend anyone to listen to this song at maximum volume using headphones. But I liked one thing... your voice, I ended up separating the audio tracks from the song and listened to your voice separately, and it's beautiful, and the backing vocals were well done, they complemented well and gave depth to the song. Well, I think that's all. I hope you take this as a criticism, not an insult and have a good day.
