Right on Scott. Great book. Right? It is a great translation of the best known military archery manual. A lot of information.
It’s easy to “want” to jump around in the book and pick what you want, but just realize it was a training manual and one “earned skill” leads to the next level, just like in any other martial art. Follow and practice what is described from the beginning and you will start to see big rewards for your efforts.
For me the biggest takeaway of the development of good towards great FORM.
We shoot the bow. The bow shoots the arrow. The better our FORM, the more consist our groups.
The other good takeaway is the “No Anchor” concept. I completely makes sense, as Gao Ying describes in the book, and will prove itself. Once that becomes part of your FORM, very quick shots producing good groups become your standard.
Keep producing what you do Scott. We appreciate you.

It's great to hear from you. I am also taking a break from making videos. I am so close to finishing the editing on my second novel, so I've just been focusing on that.

Thanks Jackie, I hope all is well with you. A second novel, that’s awesome! Writing takes more talent than I will ever posses. I hope it does well for you!
I needed the break, but I am ready to get back at it. Have a great evening my friend. I appreciate your time. Best regards

fwiw, I think you're content is really good and I particularly like when you explore and merge different bow cultures, particularly the 2-fletch arrow designs with traditional asian style of bows and archery. You've certainly sent me down an new path of trying new stuff and I'm really enjoying it. Looking forward to seeing what you do next!

Just subbed you from Arkansas. I enjoyed your comparison video on the Samick Sage and the Black Hunter. Great video. I’m about to order the Sage and stringer from Amazon. I’m going with the #25. I saw a set of beautiful feathered carbon arrows and I was wondering about arrow length? They were 30” and I do have slightly shorter arms. Thanks for the great content and I’m very excited to begin my journey!!!

Thanks for the comment and the sub my friend. You will definitely get a lot of use out of the Sage.
30 inches of arrow length should be good. With my 30 inch draw length I tend to go longer with my arrows so that I can tune them better. Have you measured your draw length yet? That will help you determine the right arrow length for your needs.
I am excited for your journey as well my friend. Keep in touch on how you are progressing. If there’s anything I can do to help don’t hesitate to ask.
Have a great evening. Best regards

@@ScottWinters Thanks for the reply and the great advice. I had my draw length measured when I purchased my compound bow but I can’t remember what it was. I will get it measured again when I get a chance. Thanks for everything and I will definitely be watching more of your content. You have a great evening as well!!!
