    The best mat! I have been using it for 3 years for my other sedan. I have only clean the mat ones in an year, after I cleaned, It’s still looks new! IT’s survived 3 winter. Now I brought for my nx350h last month. I hope the new one also last longer.

    Thank you for showing how they spray down at the car wash! I think I was hesitant because I’m so use to the idea of having rubber mats and these clearly are a different type of material. Other videos showed using a brush, and I might use a brush every so often, because I do that with rubber mats every so often as well, but this was the true test for me that these can be maintained without a huge amount of effort and just a simple spray down at the car wash!

      I’m glad it was helpful Sarah and welcome to the channel! You definitely do need to scrub them down once in a while, but a lot of the time simple pressure wash is good!

    Got a set for my 2020 Audi A5 sportback after using WT on my other cars since 2016. I think the TuxMat looks better and offers more coverage. My WT ones have curled and deformed over time. TuxMat is also easier to clean for me.

    • @gutturf
      @gutturf 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I liked Weathertech long ago when they were heavy duty, but the last ones we got for my wife's 2017 Outback and my 2019 Highlander cargo area were so light, and within a few months had deformed, that we are looking for more heavy duty mats. It looks like Tux mats are.

    • @erik5024
      @erik5024 25 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@gutturf not sure I'd say they are 'heavy duty,' but in my experience, they do offer more protection (more surface area and coverage) and they are easier to clean while looking new. Time will tell if they hold up over daily use, but so far so good. I've seen softer/more flexible mats delaminate over time, but mine seem to be holding up perfectly well.

    I just received mine today. It's for a 2025 Genesis GV80. Very disappointed. The quality and looks of the mats are great, no complaint. They also fit the basic outline. The only way to fasten the mats is with the provided plastic retainers that stick to anything plastic nearby. Problem is these retainers will become useless after removing the mats several times for cleaning. The retainer holes are designed to hook into the car's one or two floor retainers. The mat holes are rectangular. My car has round retainers So, these retainers are useless and obviously not designed for my car. It's not the end of the world, but when spending a significant $$$ amount one can expect the companies description to be accurate. Obviously, they are wrong for my car. Be careful when ordering these mats for a Hyundai or any type of Genesis.

    These look interesting. At first I was like they wrap and extend up? They must buckle or fall down over time. Perhaps even get in the way. I tend to see my passenger's side mat pushed all the way to the front because of the way they get in and push their feet I guess. How does the sides that come up do? The material looks like fabric!!

    • @carswithsonduren
      @carswithsonduren  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s really strong material it’s definitely not fabric and so far it’s been great over 15,000 km. They don’t fall down ever from the sides. Very strong. Honestly give it a shot. I think you will like it.

    How would these compare with weather tech? I've always had weather tech with no complaints. My only gripe with weather tech is they are hard and rigid. When removing the weather tech to clean, there is no way of bending the mat, you have to do this dance with the mat so you don't get dirt on the carpeted floor. Is the Tuxmat like that? It appears to be a bit more pliable?

    • @carswithsonduren
      @carswithsonduren  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Fortunately, the Tuxmat is bendable but it’s not soft. Definitely hard material but indeed it is bendable to get it out of the car!

      These are way better than the weather techs. I got these for my new car after having weather techs for my 2 previous cars. They are much easier to clean because they don't have those hard grooves where you need to pick out dried up dirt from. A bit of gentle dish soap and scrubbing will instantly restore the all black look, and they're less prone to getting that dusty/ashy look. I also prefer the smaller branding on tuxmat and once you install, they look/feel more premium too. As far as rigidity, they are a bit more flexible, but keep in mind they are bigger than weather techs.
