Thanks for doing this honestly. So many reviewers seem afraid to say anything bad about anything. But true reviews is how these companies learn they need to fix it. If everyone only says it's great when it's not, they will never try to make it better.
Great video! I bought the seasoning on a whim and wanted to make it tonight and I’m glad a came across your video. I used teriyaki sauce and cornstarch for the slurry and it still came out a little bland. So I added some more brown sugar and a little sesame oil at the end and that helped. I did try the chicken broccoli and rice seasoning mix and that turned out much better as is. I would recommend that over this. And I look forward to your homemade teriyaki chicken recipe/video.
More often than not, I am disappointed by the McCormick line of packaged flavorings, so I am not surprised. (Love their gravy lines, though!) Thanks, Amy and Eric!

Hey Amy & Eric! Loved the video! At least that rice looked great!🤣Sorry I haven’t been commenting a while our internet went out for a week.😩😩It’s still not working. I’m at my aunts and she has Wi-Fi. She got a new KitchenAid dishwasher and I helped install it. Now we’re waiting on her KitchenAid range! She had her old KitchenAid-Hobart dishwasher for 40 years. Today I made some delicious fried chicken sandwiches. Courtesy of Ina Garten. They were soooo good! Last week I made some Chinese. I made ALDI gluten free General Tso’s Chicken, ALDI egg rolls, and rice in the IP. It was delish. I would have posted it but our internet! It’s sickening. The stupid internet people’s hours are 1-5 Monday - Friday and when my mother called they never picked up. Then she called again and they yelled at her. So we stuck! I’m just now keeping up with the FaceBook group. Tomorrow I’m making a TH-cam video. It’ll be up by Friday. Well, Happy Cooking & God Bless Y’all!

I am not sure yet. I need to work on the sauce and get it right. This packet version is definitely not the way to go. Stay tuned! As soon as I am able to develop a sauce that I really like, I will post a video on it.
I would love a good recipe for teriyaki sauce. The stuff in the bottles is too bitter. I’ve tweaked a number of recipes I’ve found, but am still not satisfied. I am looking for good teriyaki flavor that is neither too bitter or too sweet.

I would add some seseme oil and teriyaki sauce. At plating time sprinkle with toasted seseme seeds and bias cut green onions.

Do you think it would taste a little better with chicken broth instead of water.?
I wasn't a fan of it at all. I don't think chicken broth will help. The seasoning just has a weird flavor.
