Some tricks on ordering window seats on WOOSH:
Jakarta - Bandung you pick odd number seats
Bandung - Jakarta you pick even number seats

From Jakarta by the "Whoosh" fast train with 350/kmh speed go to "Bandung, West Java" after that continue with "Panoramic Train" go to "Yogyakarta" after finish by car go "Dieng, Wonosobo" and "Karimunjawa, Jepara" both in Central of Java, then go to East of Java you must visit "Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, Lumajang" and " Mount Bromo, Malang" then "ijen Crater Blue Fire, Banyuwangi", all very beautiful over there, you won't regret it to explore Java Island, trust me..

Another option is to board off at the first Bandung station (Padalarang), take the scheduled feeder train to the main Bandung station which is located in the middle of the city, then order a taxi to your accommodation!

HSR is viable for long distance journey and is not for short distance. Hope can extend to surabaya. Current distance jakarta/ bandung only 142.8km.
Japan n China their HSR = long distance journey above 500km.

2:15 nope, after Marriott Hotel bombing 21 years ago in 2003, every hotel in Jakarta do this kind of security standard like the one in airport before entering the hotel, and so does the bullet train station. It's for safety reason.

5:00 这个窗户的问题在中国内的列车购票系统上就有，复兴号包括CR400-AF（你们视频里乘坐的中国出口的型号）以及BF都有可能和购票系统里面的不一致。不过新一代能跑400km/h的CR450系列似乎是每一排座位有一个单独的小窗户，类似于民航客机

Good vid as always guys... If you willing to continue the trip to Yogyakarta it's possible by train from Bandung. I suggest you to ride by LODAYA New Generation Train... There is 2 class of Economy & Executive with the different time schedule. To get the ticket better you should booking or buy by online (with Traveloka apps), max 1 day before departure day. So you can see the different in general what/how the train system experience in Indonesia. Have a good journey guys....

Plastic bags in trains (not just bullet train) also used to collect rubbish. Usually there will be janitor going up and down the train to collect rubbish from passengers. Not always, but it's easier if every passenger already have them in plastic bag instead of scattered

Only Chinese High speed train system requires security. They also don't allow people to wait at the platform, but only once they are called to board, similar to flying. Other systems in Japan, Korea, and Europe doesn't and operates like normal intercity trains.

I wonder whether Starbuck has any kind of inside arrangement with the Chinese Railway, even though they built this in another country...they are everywhere in China, sometimes up to each Starbuck at every corner of their ginormous train station. Starbuck also in ancient touristy town or Forbidden City if I'm not mistaken, which I feel is not very appropriate....then I saw "Mixue" which is a Chinese ice cream brand....whose presence is not as widespread as Starbuck worldwide....
