      The issue with running PEDS your muscles and Oxygen in the blood increases. And you tend to feel stronger and faster than you really are.. Yeah you're technically enhanced but the tendons/ligaments only strengthen with time and load.. And this is where you see most athletes suffer injuries.. If you think anyone on top in their specific field isn't enhanced, Well that's why they're so amazing... Example BONDS crankin out 73hrs at 40yrs old built like a tonka tuck.. MLB and millions on the line daily... This is track and field..$10k and you get the greenlight 😂

That the sport of sprinting is open to everyone, not just the preferred few. How can anyone take umbrage with these notions? They are literally ALL WE HAVE HEARD for the last 30 years. @@telajames8416 Disagree. I have watched as kids were discouraged from competing in certain activities because they didn't look the part. Pushed into longer distances because the coaches didn't think they would develop and be successful. Based on nothing but their appearance. So those kids get the coaching and development while the others are not allowed to pursue what they want to. As I have openly stated, and the race mongers have done for decades, these kids need to see people they can relate to, that look like them, to believe they can go that route. There does appear to be structural racism all throughout sprinting, at all levels. I mean, if we are going to look at outcomes, as we seem to do with everything else in the world, then we have to be consistent and make the huge leap and assumption that there is no other reason for the enormous disparity except racism. That is how we do things now.

    I'm not an athlete and the way these athletes act both college and pro, I'm glad I'm not. Instead of doing this for the fun and excitement of competing, it's ALL for the money and nothing else. Most would sell their soul for a buck. Good luck. Abby transcends just about everyone in sports today. She's running for the pleasure that SHE gets from it and NOT millions. Abby deserves everything she attains. Her family should be proud of this young lady. She appears to be a very humble and gracious winner. I don't know her other than what I see on you tube. I don't remember even seeing or hearing about her on the news or ESPN. For 1, I'm proud of her for what she has accomplished and the way she carries herself while being so good. Her parents should be proud of her for not being sucked in to the hoopla that IS sports today. Go get 'em Abby. A lot of us salute you just for being real, and honest and just you. God Bless you. Stay safe and healthy. Ron

    Steiner's arm carry is why she is so fast!!! Note in her high school videos, she has traditional running form.... then it changed to a weird arm pump/carry that NOBODY else is using. It's not a quirk, it's her secret.

  • @blainenewton7188

    If she stays healthy, she could be the female version of Fred Kerley, someone who can be dominant in any of the sprints, the 100m, 200m, and 400m... She has a good chance of eventually getting world records in both the 200m and 400m, but for the following year, she'll probably run somewhere between 21.5 to 21.6 for 200m and around 48.3 to 48.5 for 400m, that is, if she runs enough 400m's, which hopefully she will... If she could improve her explosiveness out of the blocks, she'd be dominant in the 100m, too, but her real future is probably the 200m and 400m.

      I just don’t see her getting down into WR territory. I see her more as an Allyson Felix-type, a do-it-all workhorse whose good at everything & great on relays. There are worse things to be, btw…

    • @dalegrant4367
      @dalegrant4367 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No way, she's not touching the WR. Koch was juiced to the max when she broke it in the 80's. Only person I can see coming close would be McLaughlin if she ran the flat

    Abby is too talented and fast for her own good. She could be an unbelievable 400 m Open runner. I actually think in her career she will end up doing 100 200 400 which hardly any track star kind of accomplish or ever has to any degree of success. But I think later she's going to be a 200 400 girl and we have a lot of talent as a United States athlete goes for women. Her closing at the end of The 100 and 200 is unbelievable and shows her fantastic strength.

    • @grahamstrouse1165

    Love your coverage Total Running Productions. If I could point out a 'huge' miscalculation. At the 8:00+ mark, it shows 2021, 200 Meter time being: 22.79 -- the 2022, 200 Meter time being 21.77 You state around the 8:03+ marker - "In the 200 meters, she achieved it by almost an entire second. 22.79 minus 21.77 = 1.2 Amazing, 1.2 seconds faster in 2022 than in 2021. That my friend, Is Not... 'almost a second'. That is a 'MEGA LEAP' forward... type of 'second'.
