- Here we are at Kyoto's MOST BEAUTIFUL Neighborhood in Higashiyama Japan! We spent Day 2 in Kyoto, Japan exploring the neighborhood of Higashiyama, which I think is the most beautiful neighborhood in Kyoto! This Japan travel vlog was made in 2022 right after Japan opened. We visited many of the highlights such as Kiyomizudera, Ninenzaka, Sannenzaka, and other places off the beaten path. We drank coffee at Starbucks built into a traditional Japanese building. We ate many famous Japanese street foods such as mitarashi dango, green tea buns, sweet potatoes, and drank matcha.
There are 2 Studio Ghibli stores in the area that we also visited. Keep your eye out for "gatchapon" (capsule toy machines) where you can get some amazing anime related souvenirs. We had a delicious dinner of Curry Udon and Japanese Curry with Karaage that was all VEGAN! These neighborhoods look even more beautiful lit up at night such as "Ponto-cho Alley".
Wow! You have showed us a side of Japan we have not seen before. Love curry! Nice old man!
It was a side we haven’t seen before either, even though it was my third time in Kyoto haha! And I wish I had footage with him, he had the most genuinely happy laugh
this deserves more subs!
Thanks so much, I appreciate the support 🙏

It was an amazing trip, thanks so much!
It will be a new discovery of Japanese sightseeing spots! I am also sending out information on tourist spots in Japan, so it will be helpful!
I hope they don’t become too crowded! That’s great that you’re doing that, thanks for watching!
Nice Video! when did you visit Japan? is this Oct/Nov? the weather looks pleasant.
Thank you! I visited Japan in late October/Early November 2022. It was pleasant indeed, perfect for walking around and not working up too much of a sweat!
What'up- thanks- that's spuerb ,goodbye!, =))
Hi, thanks for watching!
hi may i ask what time in morning you guys went to Ninnezaka and Sannenzaka?😊 they are a few folks i wish to go that time
We went at about 9 or 10am, but this was also right when Japan opened back up for tourism during COVID so there were fewer tourists overall. I would try going at 7-8am to avoid most tourists if you can do so
@@WanderlustWellman thank you for helpful info !!! 🙏🏻we will visit next month ☺️
@@savana0801 no problem, hope you have an amazing trip!
