They couldn't handle freedom. In countries like that they expect everybody to just bow down to them and do what they say. That's why they drive fancy cars because they know nobody's going to fight back against them because if they do them and their entire family will be executed

The laws are not the same ,you can run but you can't hide !
once they get you (it could be next day or in 10 years) the car get crushed with all the other cars you have ( cars that are modified and NO it's not illegal to modified cars for law abiding citizen but you are not a law abiding citizen so they going to crush them )
and if they know who you are ,you should give your self up because every 7 days about USD 50,000.00 get added to a fine

Having been in law enforcement for 23 years before retirement, Patrol Vehicle top speed isn't as important as acceleration and cornering in urban areas. Sure, if you spend all your time on Interstate Highways outside of big cities, then top speed is desirable. I will trade top-end speed for acceleration and a superb upgraded suspension that can corner consistently well every time. The key is a strong durable engine and heavy duty transmission that can do that and not fail in two or three years. In a medium-sized city, I never needed more than 100mph. I rarely went over 70mph within the city limits. What I did need, more than anything, was to be able to safely and consistently corner a 90-degree intersection, not lose traction due to an ordinary suspension in the front and rear. I needed to accelerate from 25mph to 60mph quickly and to brake without skidding from 60mph to 25mph just as fast. Top end Speed isn't the key to emergency runs or pursuits (which are becoming extinct now except for serious felonies).
It is acceleration, handling, and pursuit training that allows you to drive fast safely in urban areas and still get there as quickly as possible without the extreme risks that go with extreme speeds.

The Australian car company you're thinking of is Holden. They went under as they were a subsidiary company of US General Motors. They were known for making big V8 muscle cars that were off shoots of Pontiacs. They made a modern El Camino style muscle car I dreamed for....never available in the states tho.
Japan has a huge affinity for classic US muscle as we have a huge affinity for the JDM cars in the US. They usually make smaller displacement motors with because they are taxed on displacement. Doesn't matter these days with the advancement, you can get huge numbers out of small motors.

Holdens weren't offshoots of Pontiac, the fifth generation Pontiac GTO was based on the Holden Monaro and the Pontiac G8 was based on the Holden VE Commodore. The Chevy SS was based on the VF Commodore. While some earlier Holden Commodores may resemble other GM cars, usually Opels the design was different, usually made larger and adapted to suit Australian conditions.

The thing is that these high-speed police patrol or interceptors are common in the US mostly due to drug seizures. They mispronounced Bologna, which actually sounds like "bolonia", but close to. The sound "gn" has a specific sound in latin languages, which doesn't exist in english. The sound has to be made by touching the palate with all the tongue, and not only its tip, like when you pronounce the "N" sound. So basically it's an "N", but touching the palate with the entire tongue.

We went inside and she had framed collage of every civilian owned plate from 6 to 99. She said she knew everyone who has them. I'm not sure if that meant they're family or she just knew them outside of family but the amount of money people pay for two digit and single digits are stupid money. So I'm assuming all the rich people kind of know each other around here. 3 digit tags are passed around quite a bit.
