    English brain is indeed very important. For instance, I was born in Bombay, India and can speak 6 languages with reasonable fluency. English, Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Gujarati and Spanish of which only Spanish was the one I picked up later in life. All the others, I've spoken for as long as I can remember (I'm 52). My point here is that I think in English, always have, and then have to mentally translate that thought into the language I'm about to speak, although this takes place at a subconscious level and in a fraction of a second. More importantly, I studied in an English medium school and even the rest of my education (including medical school and residency training) in India and the U.S. was entirely in English BUT English was NOT the spoken language at home.
    Interesting, isn't it?
    Regards from,
    Jackson, Mississippi.

    A language is learned through imitation , repetition and memorization not through confusing grammatical rules. Use the word in a phrase and memorize it.

    Great video again.But I'm afraid I can't agree the part of your point of view.Such as through the dictionary away.It's much easier to understand a new word when you found the defination in your own langurage's dictionary.The English definations are surely useful,but that may two overwhalmed for the beginners sometimes.

    Oh! Not bad at all. Can't see why this got only 1k views. I love your idea and the way you can express it because I tried to explain the same thing to my friend, for 4 years, and she kept saying things like "it didn't make sense, my (her listen & repeat) way is much easier to understand". Then guess what? She sent me this vid and said that your word reminded her of me. So Wow! You've just done in 10 min what I couldn't do in 4 years. Gj !

    • @CloudEnglish
      @CloudEnglish  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s a good question. It’s the same way a teacher in school knows. They see hundreds of students day after day, year after year. So, they can see what works and what doesn’t. A single learner only has their own experience.
