That's correct according to the manual, it's 10w30. But I advise you to use gear oil instead of engine oil in the gearbox if you want your transmission to last. Cheers!
@@balkanbiker1572 Year is 2014 with 60K kilometers. I dont use it every day. I have c50 for this. For my long runs YES i have oil loss depents of how much push it.
That's correct, I have used 80w90 before (I find it way too thick for the owner's manual recommendations), so that's why I changed to 75w90 (it's gear oil, and its viscosity is similar to the owner's manual recommendation).
correct because motorcycle engine oil also does have EP additives for internal gearboxes... but you need to change it more often in the final drive, maximum 2 years lifetime.
Forza 350 : 170 ml ;
"Motul Transoil Expert" ,
SAE 10W-40, Technosynthese.
I change the gearbox-oil every 6000 km or 2 years!
10w40 has the same viscosity as 75w90 gear oil, pick a quality fyll synthetic and ure good to go
You can even do 12000 KM. I have SH 300 and the manual says every 12000 km.
I put Bardhal 10W-40 Gear.
Forza 300: 280 ml of fresh 10w30 Motul 5100 (the same oil used also for engine oil and filter oil change)

@@balkanbiker1572that’s right, agree with your point since a lot of scooter out there advised to use SAE 80w90.
Why do Honda writes nothing about specs for transmission oil in manual, just the amount of it?
@@kosten I dont know,in mine says engine oil in gear box i dont get that either..
@@balkanbiker157210w30 mb scooter engine oil is the best..
Exactly yes 👌🏻👍🏻
i use Motul MOTUL GEAR MB 80W... works perfect
80w90 ? Its also good,its gear oil,better than engine oil👍🏼
@@balkanbiker1572 oh yes works perfekt... It's straight 80W gearoil.... Search for motul gear mb 80W if interested for data 👍🏻😊
I use in my sh300i Μοτυλ 7100 10w-40 with liqui moly ceratec. Every 2 years.
What year is your bike and how much kilometers ? Do you experience oil loss on long runs ? (Asking about engine oil)

@@joaoalmeida1959 its ok,but its better to use gear oil because of the additives for gearbox, motor oil is for the engine only
Does anyone know the difference between 75w90 and 75w? I have 75w left over from my car and I'm thinking of using it for a scooter

Gear oil is NOT specified - trust the Honda engineers. I use Valvoline 5W4O Euro.
5w40 in gear box and engine ?
75w90 is almost same viscosity

Yamalube 10/40 scooter gear oil
It's almost the same; this oil has a very similar thickness to 10w40.
