the normal attack trick "when I play from mars" is extremely important to help burst-melt consistency. as far as I know, no CC has yet discussed it in their guide. it is a tragedy. a lot of players with high ping will be disappointed with Mavuika inconsistent burst, albeit just needed one click Citlali NA.
A part 2 would be appreciated. Some interesting ideas would be discussing: her team with Furina, her off-field support capability and some teams where she can excel in that role and maybe some overworld movement tech, particularly outside of Natlan.

I've seen soany showcases where they completely mess up Mav's rotation, starting the combo with her Elemental Skill and that ends up eating the Citlali cryo by the time Mav uses her ult... while Mav is easy to play, she isn't as brain dead as Neuv for example, so tips like yours are HIGHLY appreciated ❤️

Regarding high ping, often setups can be ruined by Mavuika's skill hitting after Citlali's burst but before Mavuika's. While the Citlali NA can help, what I find to be the best is to delay her skill hits by opening with a hold skill. That way, it doesn't start hitting until you swap to Xilonen, delaying the timing slightly. Additionally, with Xilonen on instructor/petra, she can go after Bennett in the rotation, since the final CA1CF aren't burst buffed and do very little damage, so Bennett will still buff the majority of the damage
Wiredly enough, on account of not having either Citlali or Xilonen. I found TTDS C3 Mona + Kaz and Bennett to give me more nuke dmg than Replacing Mona with other Cryo options like Rosaria or Diona.

i play with 160-200 ping and many times mauvika own offield app mess things up and I miss nuke melt or bec offield app mess things up I have to wait even longer if her offield app consumes citlali burst cyro which leads to like even shorter bennet uptime
Yes! I wish there was more relevancy to her Normals but I'm glad her Charged Attacks can either be spammy and easy or a bit more complicated. The Dash doing damage is also super interesting in my opinion, same for the Plunge but I doubt that's every gonna be useful. I consider her to be a bit over tuned but at least she requires Natlan characters which can be a good way to keep her in check. Once we are in 7.0 bye bye new Mavuika upgrades (maybe)

Part 2: deep dive on the artifact combination, especially when xilonen having petra, how she can reach the shards efficiently to get the team buff. And how long the petra's buff will end, will it cover until the end of the rotation or not.
I use Xilonen on Petra and on normal ennemies, it’s pretty easy to reach the shard but with bosses/bigger enemies, it can be really difficult. The Petra buff is enough to buff the burst but not the charged attacks of Mavuika.
@@mxrshiie if the buff duration is 10s, how about using instructor? It also has 10s buff duration. Is it any better than Petra as we don't have to reach the shards?

And I would love to see you do her as a Sub DPS. I struggle with her and Wrio, managed to fit her with Navia. Can’t choose the set as well, either to leave offensive set on her and make one big nuke during burst and then swap and use her 40% buff on my main character, or use scroll on her and have a weaker personal damage but buff my main more. And I tried to match Wrio end of burst with her nuke to make it wape as an end of rotation, can’t say it was effective... Sooo difficult to fit everything. She requires so many mechanics to be considered
I'd love to see a rotation with Mavuika, Bennet, Citlali and an anemo character like Sucrose. because if you just replace Xilonen the anemo character in the rotation, your VV might not be up for the burst, let alone the rest of the rotation.
Mavuika E>Benny Q> Sucrose E> Citlali E Q> Mav Q This rotation works well with sucrose. I skipped Benny E because Mavuika is giving a good amount of pyro particles to Benny, and if ur Benny ER is high, you wont need his E.

Her combos are extended, and I'm not sure if i should do what I've been doing before c1 and just keep spinning after the general combo or do something different for more melts. Seems like a niche situation so I haven't really seen any tips. Should I just ignore it if I'm not in a vape team?
I use Tenacity on Xilo, Nobless on Benney, Sindercity on Citlali. This combination is the most reliable and has good uptime and need no-brainer to use.
Citlali requires energy for her burst uptime, not everyone can get er substats on petra, and why not we give it to someone who doest need tk do her burst in a rotation
Great question tbh while they can work with citlali for better buff uptime the problem is the set itself, it doesn't really do anything to citlali also ER problems while in the long run you will get a better artifact to get the ER requirement but there is also a problem of versitility of the set it can only work if there is a geo on your team to get that elemental shard meaning the set is useless in some teams not having geo element so is not resin efficience to farm while cinder not only gives ER it can also buff citlali dmg and it work in every team you use at the same time is resin efficience to farm plus you can get a better obsidian artifact for your mavuika so is killing two birds in one stone situation.
I feel like with C6 Kaeya sometimes you can spin nonstop and melt every hit Other times you mess up the start can`t melt the burst Does Citlali`s cry application allow AOE melts or only for single target ? Diona feels like she can`t override pyro sometimes when enemies are all moving around
Kaeya is probably unreliable due to movement and enemy hitbox. Citlali is AoE application, it's about as big as Bennett's Burst. Diona can be helped with Sacrificial but can be enough without since a Hold Skill applies Cryo twice and Burst does it again. Of course Mavuika's Skill happening at the wrong time can mess this up. If you meant after the setup then basically no Cryo unit can really overtake the aura. If you are in Mavuika Burst and the enemy loses the Cryo aura for a Pyro one, there is basically nothing you can do to get it back. It's only possible during setup.
@ Yes I agree, the only Cryo unit that it not Citlali I would actually play is Rosaria. Anything else needs either another Cryo or too precise setups that are easy to mess up
They could rework it to make it possible for anyone to activate it but I don't think they'll ever touch it, at the end of the day it's not too bad and there are far worse sets in the game. The only saving grace for Xilo is that she dashes into the enemy so often it's actually not that hard to pick up but still weird if not impossible against certain enemies.
I gave WuWa a try and left shortly after. But the way it wasn't so ping reliant stood out from the get go. Too late for Hoyo to fix the basics ig. Anyways great video!
Yeah with all the mechanics in place I don't see Hoyo ever changing it, they would have to redesign the entire game probably. Zenless doesn't rely on ping and feels really great
EM > Crit Rate (till 60) > Crit DMG > ATK% is probably your substat priority right now, especially if Bennett is there. Wolf makes EM Sands almost a no brainer
Sadly mavuika to me is the worst value for an archon after Venti and Raiden. Mavuika has 2 major flaws, first one she is HIGHLY dependent on Xilonen AND/OR Citlali. The second flaw is she did not bring anything new to the genshin meta, she is a pyro nuke dps, which is not what most people were hoping for. I understand that Casuals wont understand this because "archon = must pull!" but "tryhards" understand that at the time of Furina and Nahida's release, they completely revolutionized the meta. Furina allowed most characters to use Marechusse, while nahida made hyperbloom/aggravate teams the best source of damage to clear any content.

Not the best damage wise but consistency I use mauve ganyu with elegy xilonen and shenhe with noblesse . Tap e also buffs burst damage too

With Citlali you can do AoE Melt. I do it constantly in Obsidian Codex domain, oneshotting all the 3 mobs with Melt.
