The return of a menstrual period if the bio idenicals are missed for a few days...does this only happen with women who are in the transition or newly menopausal or can it happen with anyone? Also, what is the cause of this? Declining estrogen or progesterone? Lastly, I have heard that some women have very bad side effects from stopping progesterone quickly, similiar to benzo drug withdrawal. Can you please speak to this in your experience?

I felt super tired, depressed and headaches. I couldn’t stay on them. As soon as I stopped them I felt better tbh. I just wanted to take them for my skin and hair 😢

Hi! We understand that menopause symptoms can be challenging and we apologize that you are still experiencing them despite having taken HRT ☹
It can take time to achieve full and lasting relief with HRT, as every person's body reacts differently. It does take time for the hormone levels to build. There is no definite timeline since every woman's body is different.
It is possible that you may need adjustments as symptoms and intensity may vary over time. If you would like to discuss your treatment plan with your doctor, you can message them directly through the patient portal here: app.bywinona.com/message
Here is also an article you may find helpful: help.bywinona.com/en/articles/5449076-how-long-does-it-take-for-hrt-to-start-working

A very good video..thank you. I started taking mine , the third try on 21st Feb. On 30th March I developed loud tinnitus which is an uncommam side affeft of Menopause. I came off it and 4 weeks ago. And the tinniuts has got worse . And the ancxity which comea from mo sleep etc. Today I made a decision to start it again . What are your experiences like with Tinniuts and Meopause . Is it meno related or is it caused by HRT . There is so little research out there on it . :) thank you

Hi! Most women don’t experience any side effects at all from taking HRT. For those who do, the side effects are usually mild and only last a week or two while your body gets used to the new medication. We hope you do feel better soon!
For any adjustments you'd like to have or any further questions you may have with the things you are experiencing, you can send your doctor a message in the Patient Portal here: app.bywinona.com/message

Hi, when they make you loopy-does this include losing balance, stumbling, slurred speech or even becoming extremely tired?

    • @chestnutmair1
      @chestnutmair1 21 วันที่ผ่านมา

@@Whelan90 Yes. Like my brain is mushy. feels slurry. Hard to explain. I have had trouble with Benzo withdrawal and from what I understand progesterone, alcohol and Benzos all effect the gaba center of the brain. And mine is damaged from the benzos. I don't drink so I don't know if that effects it but I have tried progesterone a few times with the same effect.

@@kitten72 High estrogen levels in males can lead to various risks and health concerns. Some potential risks associated with elevated estrogen levels in males include:
Gynecomastia: High estrogen levels can contribute to the development of gynecomastia, a condition characterized by the enlargement of breast tissue in males. It can cause breast tenderness and swelling.
Sexual dysfunction: Estrogen imbalance in males can disrupt normal sexual function. It may lead to decreased libido (sex drive), erectile dysfunction, and difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection.
Infertility: Elevated estrogen levels can negatively affect male fertility by reducing sperm production, impairing sperm quality, and interfering with reproductive functions.
Increased risk of cardiovascular problems: High estrogen levels in males have been associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases, including heart disease and stroke.
Mood changes and depression: Hormonal imbalances, including high estrogen levels, can affect mood and contribute to symptoms of depression, anxiety, irritability, and emotional instability.
Increased risk of certain cancers: While the relationship between high estrogen levels and cancer development in males is not fully understood, some studies suggest a potential association between elevated estrogen levels and an increased risk of breast, prostate, and testicular cancers.
It is important to remember that hormonal balance is essential for overall health, and both low and high estrogen levels can have adverse effects. If you are experiencing symptoms or concerns related to estrogen levels, it is advisable to consult with a healthcare professional who can assess your specific situation and provide appropriate guidance.
