Bit harsh on Michael Johnson, the guy struggled with his mental health and depression for years because of his injuries. Met him a few years back, he was really nice and seemed much happier now. Think he’s become quite successful in real estate since he retired as well, so it’s nice to know he’s turned things around for himself and is happier now.

Adriano was one of the main reason why Flamengo won the league title 2009. Best goal scorer in Brazilian League in that season by the way. One season later he was paired with Vagner Love in Flamengo´s then 4-4-2 to form "Emperor of Love" but for some reason he returned to Italy during that year where he was finally broken.

Not really. Di Maria still managed 18 assists for United despite only being at the club for one season. He's gone on to be successful in a farmers league. Hardly a step up.
Same goes for Depay. Smashed them in in the Dutch farmers league, was shit at United, and now smashing them in at another farmers league.
Sanchez and Mykhitarian were both doomed to fail. The former was hardly having a great season at Arsenal and the latter never settled in England. He failed at both United and Arsenal. Sanchez is now failing in Italy as well so it wasn't just United where he was poor.
The only player that is achieving real success since leaving the club is Lukaku. Real fans never wanted him to leave, but both him and Ole foolishly wanted him out and he's banging them in in Italy. He never failed at United, the team as a whole failed.
The myth that Man United ruin top players needs to die. Simple fact is most of them couldn't hack it at the very top level or just had poor attitude and were just there for the payday. The club has wised up to that now and slowly getting rid of all the high earners whilst nurturing young talent. It might not be bearing fruit right now but considering the club is only 5 points off a CL place with a game in hand proves it's not all doom and gloom.

He was GREAT at Santos, winning their first ever Brazilian Cup (he was the leader in a team with Neymar rising, Elano, the fullbacks Danilo and Alex Sandro, and more...), then he had a very good World Cup for Brazil, then moved to Milan and actually was decent... I'd say the year he ''declined'' was surely some year after 2010.

Gerrard was still top scorer in his last year at Liverpool. He could have left for another top European club but he said he didnt want a chance to play vs Liverpool. If Klopp was manager I think he would keep him but play him as a sub like Ferguson did with Scholes. It's a shame Gerrard missed out on Klopp by 5 months but luckily Henderson and Milner filled the leadership vacuum. I think his America form was down to different culture(travelling) and lack of passion for LA Galaxy.

Adriano's story is just so sad... Kaka was unlucky in Madrid with all the injuries, I still remember how he dominated the Pep-Team in his first Classico.
Ronaldinho and Robinho? Partied way too much. At least Ronaldinho shone extremely brightly at his peak, Robinho at best was getting there.

I think it was a bit harsh on Kaka, Rooney, Torres and Ronaldinho. Kaka wanted to say farewell to AC Milan before going to the MLS to become an icon of American ‘soccer’. Meanwhile that’s a similar thing to both Rooney and Torres as they wanted to have a farewell season with their original clubs before they were rejected at their current clubs. Torres was gonna go to Japan because of Villa and Iniesta- while Rooney was gonna go to the MLS because of the same reason like Keane, Kaka, Bastian and Zlatan- to follow Beckham’s footsteps and conquer the game over in the States which they all did. And Ronaldinho literally did a Maradona which is say goodbye to your origins.
So maybe a bit harsh on players that just want to say goodbye and walk into the sunset

As an Atleti fan i have to say i completely disagree with your evaluation of Torres. His return to atleti as pretty useful for us and he did last 3,5 seasons at the club
he helped us reach a champions league final, scoring important goals against Barcelona, provided many intangibles to the club as we fans felt we were reclaiming our history and did end up helping us win the Uefa Europa league.
And if you want stats, he scored 38 goals in 160 appearences, almost a goal in every 4 matches which considering our low scoring style of play is quite good. I'll totally take those goals is they are game winners, which in many matches they were.
Overall Fernando DIDN'T decline, he just changed his style of play to adjust to a game style were he wasnt the main man and did alright.

7:13 if you cant include Falcao you also shouldn't include Torres. In 2015 in his January lonely back to Atletico he scored 2 goals to eliminate real Madrid. He scored then against Barcelona in an exciting cup tie. After the loan he was bought back permanently and became a starter at Atletico. That next season he bagged an important quarterfinal goal against barcelona that eliminated Us.
