This video brought a smile to my face. As a Finn, I know we have so many good things provided for us, but some times you forget to appreciate them. Thank you Khrisna for reminding us.
Great video! I think it sums up the main strengths of Finland. Basic things from a perspective of a native Finn but these are the qualities that we should leverage while competing for workforce. Fact is, if you are for example an IT professional, fancy warm weather and maximizing your earnings, don't care too much about your free time and don't want a family, Silicon Valley might very well be your perfect choice. If you on the other hand value the things mentioned in the video and plan on getting children and want to enable them a high quality education and safe environment, Finland is a great choice. An important reason for myself to move back from Germany is the country cottage at the sea: this would be considered an absolute luxury in most places in the world if at all available. Here you can afford these kind of things, despite the high taxes.
Yes we all are only human after all. This kind of people is always welcome to Finland ❤ Kindnes is meaning of life. Thak you for warm and kindly video...
10:20 That thing is called Kummeli. It's a fixed non-illuminated maritime safety device built on the shore, intended for day navigation, which serves as an aid for rough positioning. In terms of structure, it is, for example, a white-painted stone barn or a wooden, concrete or steel structure. Kummeli's are marked on the nautical chart, and their purpose is to facilitate the determination of the boat's position and the identification of terrain points when boating in the archipelago channels. These are also used as directional signs when crossing large ridges, because due to their size and their white color that differs from the background, they are easy to spot even from a distance.
Jes good point to follow the words not grammar. Here we speak two totally different languages. Spoken finnish is totally different from written finnish.
