Being a 7-seed to play-in team every season means 81 games of ugly basketball and abhorrent losses, including a laundry list of losses where the team blows massive second-half leads. I can see Jimmy's point of view whether he's worth such a contract or not. If the FO doesn't upgrade the team, them he might as well cash in.
