I'm just going to be very critical. It looks lovely, but there's a tacky and unpolished feel to it. Perhaps those wall boxes need some polishing or something. I wouldn't say I like how the light reflects on them, as you can see that dryness and finger marks. Also, the part where the wood separates from the sockets needs sorting. It's not very straight at all. Some extra cm away from the socket would give a breath or two, as it looks squashed.

Don’t listen to that comment. Warping won’t occur unless the boards are getting wet often or they’re under extreme temperatures but inside, they will be fine

I would test one piece of wood and see. You need to use a concrete drill or a hammer drill.

I like it but you should have colored both sides to prevent warping.
We used polyurethane to seal them!

They are framed with wood, and then drywall on top. For brick, I’m not sure. Ask at your local hardware store what they recommend

Not sure if I just missed it. But which size are those slats and how big are your spaces
1x2 slats. The spaces in between is the same spacer, turned on it’s side (approx 1”)
Don't you stain the wood ? Doesn't it look undone to leave wood the way it is ?
It’s totally up to you! We used a coat of polyurethane to protect it.
