AWESOME! - I've got the CDJ-2000 and the RMX1000 and played alot with it. But looking this performance with an open mouth I realized that I didn't find out 10% of what I can do with this equipment.
Still as good as the day it was posted, a DJing genius.

Anybody commenting anything other than positive praise clearly hasn't seen Zabiela play many many times and listen to many many uniquely different and interesting and deep thought provoking layered complex music time and time and time again..... One of the most interesting musical minds ever.... showing off the skills of what the equipment is capable of in a 5 min period and doing it masterfully and seamlessly is the point... and point WELL made.... oy
Saw him live in Peru ~15years ago. A wizard on the decks, it was insane.

Word... performances like that are not supposed to get played in clubs, this would annoy people within minutes since this isn't sound that could make you get in the mood to dance. But if anyone is able to do such a performance, he will easily play club-sets and have a drink with friends at the same time. Zabiela is a machine :o)
I watched this when I had 2 CDJ 2000nexus platinum edition, and now when I quit djing in 2019 , I still watch James Zabiela

The way he's connecting thet RMX-1000 is unusual. He connected the mixer's RCA output into RMX-1000's input, and connected RMX-1000's output as a channel to the mixer. It's very smart.

Not really a Pioneer fan but it is nice to see a real pro let loose with what's possible on the equipment he's using.
Your use of the crush filter to emulate scratching and the rapid FX mashing to cut the scratches was mind blowing. You've sold me on a RMX-1000.
