  • Here is video from my life, my Siemens E12-14 washing machine died with loud bang...
No reaction to power, no led glow.
After opening and inspecting i found de-caped (exploded) TNY264 IC, after replacing and testing all components around (resistor fuse, diodes) - with all was fine - washing machine working again! Here is video from steps I take to fix it.

Exactly my machine's fault. THanks for the video.

    Great video
    Thank you.
Is the board that you fixed installed in front or in the back of the washing machine ?

    I'm a technician
I have a Siemens IQ 100 washing machine complaint the first complaint was when we put in wash or spin program it's rotate fastly only one side after it's off again same program continues
After I find out the pcb transistor was burned I changed the transistor after wash and spin works perfectly but now
The problem is when we put on a wash program the main wash motor runs directly with out filling water and some times the water inlet value makes some noise like supply on and off
You have any idea what s the reason and which part is faulty in the pcb board

Sorry, I have no idea, i don't work on washing machines - this was just mine unit and it was single time job so I don't have any expertise. Generic advice would be test water solenoid valve without circuitry - just power it directly and see does it open properly. If it's working properly then start checking out water level sensor, i have no idea where it is but looks like it can send wrong data so it confuse microcontroler to think it's full of water - so it open and close it too soon.

Check that big resistor on the other side of the board (next to the blue varisotor). It is a fusable resistor that is to protect the IC, when the IC blows the resistor is usally damaged.

I'm just about to try this fix on my machine. I think the heat has changed the colour of the bands on the resistor making it unreadable (reads 14 Meg. ohm on meter!) - but the first band looks brown so I'm guessing it is 100 ohms and there are ebay ads selling 3 watt resistors with the TNY264GN. I don't know about "fusable" I've just ordered a 3W wire wound resistor. But if others are researching this fault, here are two more videos of the repair: th-cam.com/video/R_2XuHaczAY/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=MrWashyWashy
and this one where he replaces the 100 ohm resistor:

I fixed my machine exchanging this IC. I works now, but I cannot switch it off. When I put the switch to "Off", there are still some LEDs on. Any idea?

I would like to add that after replacing the parts on the board could be good to cover with laquer (PVB varnish)

100% agree, UV curable solder mask would be great!
