The farewell speech by the Mad Hatter, and a curtain call with the cast and creative team during the final Mad T Party performance at Disney California Adventure.
It's so heartbreaking because you can see in their faces that they really don't want to go. I dare say behind the scenes there was a big controversy about this because I'm sure none of them would've just let Disney pull them down....there would've fought hard to keep their place. It's so sad I never got the opportunity to see them :(((

It's a bittersweet ending. Bitter for the end of something that was amazing, entertaining and gave DCA some grown-up evening entertainment. Sweet though - because these cast members are still with Disney. Some are Dapper Dan-ing, some are Newsies, some roam the streets with a pirate band, and I've heard two of the Alice's are going to be getting to know Elsa at the Hyperion pretty darn well. Thank you, Mad T, for the many hours of fun, laughter and magic. May we still see your lovely faces, hear your dulcet tones and experience your technical know-how in whatever adventures you're off doing now.

Wow, this is pretty upsetting to relive. I went to this last T party last night and it was amazing. It felt like is was just yesterday that I was at Mad T Party's opening night on June 15th of 2012. Never really thought or believed it's been four years since then and it's closed. RIP Mad T Party 6/15/12 - 3/30/16 you will be missed :(
i am literally crying right now... The mad t party was what i was always looking forward to when going to Disneyland. the cast was great, and Dormouse was my personal favorite. he made me feel special, and pretty. Alice was amazing, the hatter was funny and charming, and the march hare was awesome ! i would love to thank the band members, and the cast, thank you so so so much for giving me these amazing memories!!!!!

I died when the camera turned to the people in the back, and my favorite of the White Rabbit DJs, Wendy Walker, was crying. Gonna miss this so much.
This really got to me and more on a personal level. Even though I've actually been to Mad T Party less than often like a lot of people and only stayed for two sets at the most due to traffic, it holds a place in my heart. I've been to ElecTRONica once and it was with my dad in December of 2010, but it was for a short while so it didn't leave an imprint on me. When I went to MTP during a high school field trip in September 2012 with other Art class students (including an ex-best friend that claimed that the Caterpillar performing at the time was her "make-out buddy", ugh), it was different. It was during this time that my dad had been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and was undergoing chemo and radiology and that I was attending my senior year of high school.
I've heard about it on the Internet and it caught my curiosity, so I figured I would take a chance and go check it out. What I expected was to watch the band play and, of course, enjoy the music. What I discovered, however, was that there was a sense of community and family there, something that I never thought would happen. Whenever my mom and I would go to MTP, I would try to find friends from over the Internet or make new ones and meet up with them later online. I would also bring along my Shadow Heartless plush Patrick whenever possible, which sometimes brought out some humorous reactions from the band members. I've only returned to Mad T Party twice when it was brought back for the Diamond Celebration: once was during its soft opening and the other was the 4th of March.
With that said, while I am heartbroken that Mad T Party is no more, I am grateful for the good times and for the friends that I've made there. I'm honestly proud that I got a chance to check out MTP on that faithful field trip because otherwise, I wouldn't be here.
I've only been able to see them perform once, and that one time, I had the most incredible time ever. The whole crew is so talented and you can tell that they are passionate about entertaining a crowd. We will miss you! I hope this will be more of a "see you later" and not a "goodbye forever"
Did they ever record their music? Can we buy it or download it somewhere? I loved it so much and I'm devastated I never got to get the full experience since I'm not 21 yet.

Christopher Lara but my aunt asked my cousin who works at Disneyland and she said that they are eventually going to return.
I see I know that's why they are postponing star wars land because of Shanghai

I had a friend who work in mad t party area say it might had different themes show. He not 100% sure about doing different themes or it will no show in that area.
For now nothing, mostly because of the cuts that are going on. But the food and wine festival will be in that spot for the time it's there.
First they take away the Aladdin Musical Spectacular and now Mad T Party!? What the heck Disney? 2016 has been sad so far for California Adventure. My 2 favorite things in the park gone. Can I get a refund on my annual pass?
Just call the annual pass holder about the refund
