I love beginner guides, i barely play anymore, but when i get back into it i usually get my progress up to a speed ran beginner account then log in daily and eventually quit, but i absolutely love watching this content.

I literally have a alt account with the light panda 🐼 that I don’t even play on. 😂 Funny enough I ended up pulling one on the main account a month later. 😅
AS a new player, do you pull your mystical scrolls as you receive them, or is it best to wait and accumulate?
One way you could make her work is by clearing content first without her, and once you showed you can clear without her, you can show her being used the 2nd time around with a beginner friendly team still.
Just got Dark Monkey in the Global server, same situation as you Sean but I don't even have LD5 in my main.
I haven’t played since like 2015 and now I’m going to try to get back into on pc. I remember how my favorite unit was the light type knight? Or maybe it was called paladin.

I started a beginner account last year and the first ld scroll I got from Faimon Hell. I pulled Asima, I was so tilted that I didn't pull it on my main. Especially since my main doesn't have any ld5's.

I never realized how important the Summoner's Way was! I started playing 1st time because of the Witcher collab, a big fan of it. Started playing 12 days ago and a couple things I noticed, first, I suck at the game would like to know more, second; I guess ToA content is pretty important? I unlocked it yesterday, didn't do much with it because I thought I was still weak to do it so just left it and was thinking of coming back to it when I have a couple of 5 stars LoL, third; I have no idea anything about the terms used in the game what the hell is an LD5, there are a lot of terms I came across that I have no clue what they meant. fourth, I noticed your energy is all used up, I have been playing for 12 days and I have gone below 800 energy from my 134 max, I was just grinding on what I think I need so I just leave it as is when I finished grinding the mats that I need, and since you started playing last night, and you have like 0 energy assuming that you also have what I have since it's a new account, what should I grind for? I think NOT being able to use all my energy is a bad thing, I mainly grind all the daily mission quests that required 10 battles each and that's about it unless I need Essences when I have a monster that I want to awaken. So no clue what to use my energies for. Fifth, I don't have a clue as to what monsters I should level up so I just mainly stick with what I have, the only 5 stars I have is Cheongpung, he's my strongest unit, awakened and maxed and I use him for everything, and I am quickly realizing that he isn't enough to do stuff, I can't get past B6 on the Cairos dungeons, aside from that I just rinse and repeat the daily quest and a couple of summons until something changes. So I really need a guide in 2024 about what to do, because I haven't got a clue. I need someone to look at the monsters I have right now and tell me who to upgrade and what content to use it on T_T.

Beginner help with:
1. I suck at the game
2. Noticed you grinded ToA, I wanna progress on it too even though I have no clue what I can get from it xD
3. Summoner's War vocabulary, what certain terms mean: LD5, NAT5, What the hell is a "cleave" you always mention it when you play ranked
4. Noticed your energy is empty on your one day old account, what should I use my energy on?
5. Who the heck should I level up, I have like 80 monsters
5.1. probably need to join a group for this one
And an important thing I found out, I could have just bought the slots for my Magic Shop, I thought I unlock more when I level up, I could have just bought it like 11 days ago, I wasted all my free refreshes. I realized it when I looked at your magic shop and confused as to how you unlocked everything despite having a day old account so decided to look into it, you just buy the slots for it -_-
GBAH team:
Main Core:
Veromos (Dark Ifrit 5*): you get it from fusion and new accounts always have a 1st fusion helping event.
Belladeon (Light Inugami 3*): not needed to 2A but can help to have it. Light Secret dungeon, random chance to appear when farming Hall of Light or joining one from chat.
Shannon (Wind Pixie 2*): not needed to 2A but can help to have it. From unknwon scroll or shop refreshes

Kro (3* Dark Inugami) or Naomi (3* Wind Martial Cat): 2A is a must, Kro is more overall used across lots of multiple content but Naomi it's easier to rune and aside from Giants it 2 other uses. Kro has Dark Secret Dungeon and Naomi random summon, Water martial cat it's available in Guild Shop to use as skill up.
Water Geralt (5*) / Sigmarus (Water Phoenix 5*) / Wind Homunculus (5*): water geralt it's free during the collab so it's easiest option to use for now. Sigmarus it's a nice option to add safety and damage but requires another 5* Fusion. Wind Homunculus you have to craft it and also craft the skills that you will use in Giants by farming Rift Dungeons, but that needs time to get tho eventually it's the one of the best f2p units for this dungeon.
TOAN/TOAH first team
Spectra (Fire Griffon 3*): 2A is not a must but it's highly suggested. From Secret Dungeon.
Fran (Light Fairy Queen 3*): from Summoners Way and can be skilled up with normal Fairies, use the 2* like Wind Fairy.
Loren (Light Cow Girl 3*): exclusive from Secret dungeon.
Verdehile (Fire Vampire 4*): from Fusion.
Tyron (4* Water Sylph) / Veromos (Dark Ifrit 5*): Tyron only from summon and Dark Ifrit from fusion. Personally I think it's one of the 3 best units to grab from the 4* Summon Event for new players.
Other good options are Baretta (4* Fire Sylph, Fusion), Kro (Dark Inugami) or Sigmarus (Water Phoenix).
Personally priorities for 2nd awakening would be either Kro > Spectra.
1) ToA = free scrolls and crystals
2) dont care too much about SW vocab u can slowly learn along the way
3) I use energy in leveling up monsters and, farm Hall of Magic for fusion
4) Water Geralt, Fran, Veromos from fusion event, Spectra are great candidate.

My first ld was on my alt. (Yeonhong). I got her right after her major nerf. 😅 But a year later I pulled Eleanor and Narsha on my main account.
I've gotten two LD lightning in the last couple months. Both have been light Yennifer.

I got a light Ciri a couple of days ago, nice monster, but the ignore defense should be 100% and the spd condition eased, overall nice design of the collaboration mobs, I think they will buff the Ld5 of the collab

Funny thing is that i started a new account just a few hours ago, didnt get a ld 5 but got water dragon and unicorn. Should I focus on them already or build the monsters you mentioned?
Definitely build that Water Dragon for ToA!!
Maybe try reaching C1 with only support units and a couple of your own mons? I was able to get to Fighter3 but couldn’t quite reach C1 this way. I’m barely able to get 280 on my swift set (almost no grinds and no quad rolls)

Gratz. I understand what you feel, coz i have 0 ld5 on my main acc, but mave double ld(berghild + shazam) on my twink acc. I'm so sad(
New player here thats been watching and trying to learn from this series and I cant figure out where you got Loren from. Please help lol
Just add to her s3 additional turn chance like Antares have: gain a turn with 20% chance if enemy did not attack her. It solves all problems with too long CD on s3 and will make her soooo annoying. Imagine: she will spam s1 on stunned enemies, steal their vio procs from stun or, if enemy somehow managed to proc from stun and do something bad to your ally, she will cleance and shield it. And make it all in active skill like Vanessa has, so it can't be disabled with oblivion.
Use her in a team with something that also stuns and/or provokes so they have less opportunity to hit her. Each time the enemy would get a turn, even when stunned, her skill cooldown decreases.
Would work well with Verad too with his two turn freeze potential, Sagar with his provokes or an Assassin's Creed unit/a Paladin with their taunts.

GZ Sean, though you should be overjoyed instead rather than disappointed. The worse an LD 5, the bigger the buffs, honestly im gonna call it now she will get 2 buffs, the second skill will heal 15 percent ally HP and make 15 percent shield with a cleanse. The seconf buff will be a decrease in her s3 cooldown by at least a turn because 6 turns way too long. And crossing my fingers that they change the way her s3 works to not do damage and act like a spectra. Fingers crossed. Stay happy and be like me who has Lora and Wedjat on 2 different accounts, both of which im extremely casual i feel you.
Hopefully she is good in 4 months 😂
@@SeanBGamesI’ve watched quite a bit of her gameplay. She’s actually phenomenal. Rune her as much tankiness as possible with a cc heavy team and her cooldown is off every two turns. If they’re forced to attack her she is a massive tank to chew through. No damage whatsoever just pure tankiness. Easily mid upper tier ld5

The alt I created long ago already surpassed the amount of LD5 than my main by a good margin and got my favourite LD5 there too.

Me who fuse an average 30 fusions of each nat5 so I can save diablemons 👽
I am curious is Com2Us are releasing such awful units on release out of fear of them being too strong, or if there's another reason behind it
Hey Sean, I recently started a new account and I could farm giants abyss hard from day 2 I used kro vero Bella fran and wind barbaric king after that I went straight for the wind homunculus instead of fran and I got a 100% consistent team wiht avg time 1:30 hope this helps your or anybody in the comments

i also started a new account on EU server. This time, i want to keep it f2p. My problems is, that at some point i dont know exactly what to do. So you go at first DB10? And dont choose Kro?
Update: It took me 8 Hours to get Toa Normal 100 from the creating of a new account. Thx to fire Geralt, which was carrying me through the half of the tower (6.40pm to 2.30 am in the morning). :)
i build alt before for fun but now i focus on my alt more. because of ragdoll
U can do dragon abyss hard with beginner runes on Tyron (or Water geralt), veromos , verdeheil, loren and spectra
u get tyron from the evenet where u can choose a nat 4, but geralt works verry good to

You should use the event and transfer over all the skill points to the dark yennifer

I just started this game im progressing through these quests but i only have 1 5 star and cannot do almost anything else and im barely able to clear the campaign quests its wanting me to. I do not understand how to get better units. This is not a beginner guide this is an alt account guide.

She is pretty good actually, issue is she will be targeted always… something needs change in buff balance patch

Farm runes and then play rta in 2-3 month
you shouldnt need to refresh the shop right now for fodder cause the event gives infinite unknown scrolls
