Lovely sewing box. I have a few bits that belong to my grandmother. My mother didn't get the craft gene, but I did, so it all came to me. I'm relaxing in my knitting chair and drinking my tea. Still don't feel well. 😕
Hi Sheila I love your sewing box I have one very similar just 6 sections in mine but opens up the same way with little knobs on the top , it was my mums and her mums before that and I treasure it , it’s not quite as tidy inside as yours but my little grandaughter likes to look through the ribbons and buttons etc 😊I hope to pass it on to her one day if it lasts that long 🤞amanda xx

I have the same sewing box. My friend died and her husband asked if I would like it as they had no daughters. It too belonged to her mother and would be the same age as yours. I treasure it and all its contents , but have no children so don't know where it will end up. The little girls looked sweet in their reindeer jumpers.

Lovely box my mum and two grannies were all tailoresses so I love hand sewing and machine but prefer things can do on my knee like knitting
