I believe that it is because they have been getting sued for so much recently, all this legal stuff must be digging a deep hole in roblox's wallet. While, as he said, we could stop buying robux in an attempt to get the prices to go down, there are so many 5-9 year old's that dont understand the value of money playing roblox right now; it is effectively impossible to boycott roblox. These children dont care how expensive it is because mommy's credit card makes the price go away. Roblox hats used to be 50-60 robux, I tried to make my friend an avatar and I wasn’t really looking at the prices while putting the items on in catalog avatar because I already had a general idea of what the estimate SHOULDVE BEEN.. I checked the price of the outfit, it was 800. Excluding the shirt and pants being 5 and 7 robux, for 5 accessories it went up to 800 which is just insane because they weren’t super detailed crazy stuff either.. It was a hat, hair, belt, a little speech bubble thing that said “nah, id meow” and a little pocket on the shirt with a cat in it which was really tiny may I mind you, which all together should not have been 800 robux..

Roblox hats used to be 50-60 robux, I tried to make my friend an avatar and I wasn’t really looking at the prices while putting the items on in catalog avatar because I already had a general idea of what the estimate SHOULDVE BEEN.. I checked the price of the outfit, it was 800. Excluding the shirt and pants being 5 and 7 robux, for 5 accessories it went up to 800 which is just insane because they weren’t super detailed crazy stuff either.. It was a hat, hair, belt, a little speech bubble thing that said “nah, id meow” and a little pocket on the shirt with a cat in it which was really tiny may I mind you, which all together should not have been 800 robux..
Tbh the RIA is shitty asf. They keep pairing candidates who are indeed, potential, yet have no chance to shine, with those that have already been popular throughout the history of Roblox. Isn't this an "Innovation Award"?
For example, Hellmet and Guts and blackpowder are games that have just officially been released, they all have very unique experiences, and Roblox just decided to put Arsenal, which is a game that has been here for a long time on the list. There's NO reason for a hat price to EVER reach triple digits. Most people including myself will only buy to make a full outfit, which would maybe reach around 600-700. It's genuinely makes no sense for ONE item to be that much, making a full outfit eventually reach thousands.

The floor price thingy is like a never ending cycle of despair. Once people start buying, the prices go up, but when people don’t buy the prices go down. And when the prices go down, EVERYONE just starts buying. Then the prices skyrocket. And since there are more people joining Roblox everyday, I can see the price floor gradually and gradually increasing overtime. It doesn’t matter if we boycott, cause it will all just go up no matter what. Roblox has set up a terrible trap for us.
