I wanted to name an English Country Dance band Tythe Pig. In the USA at least, it is not uncommon to name an ECD band after a tune or dance, e.g., Bare Necessities, a prime example. Blodwyn Pig was the name of a prog rock band formed by a member of Jethro Tull who had a falling out with the flute player Ian Anderson. I thought I could pull this on my bandmates but alas, they didn't go for it. Oh well...

Oh, Tythe Pig would be an excellent name for an ECD band!
