This makes me a little angry because where the fuck were these picks months ago for marvel. I know I'm beating a dead horse but for fuck sake I can't stop this rising anger.
Magnum BadGuy I feel like Capcom may do something to just make things worse for SFV and MvCI by forcing in costumes of characters that were in the previous ones or kind of tick off potentials for the sake of trying to keep the other floating.
Hearthstone Card Backs can be gotten after they've passed, and you're not fucked forever like Pat claims. In most cases you aren't fucked forever with these things, they either make them a pain to get later on, or they charge you an arm and a leg. Since it's Capcom, it'll likely be gone for about a year or two and then come out as DLC for Street Fighter V Super Unlimited Edition
The thing that I don't get is this. It's a digital good, right? It costs like, almost no money to have it available on a digital store for download. So, what's the point of not making all of them available at a later date? People who care aren't going to wait a full year. I don't really see what there is to lose.
Doesn't having the ability to just buy the unlocks pretty much negate the challenge of the players who put the time in? It would be like if in MK9 you could just buy the Challenge 300 Milenna costume, instead of actually earning it by completing the challenge. I'm a fan of time sensitive and challenge dependent unlockable costumes, as it means that if you encounter a player with that specific skin it tells you that they earned it with a specific level of skill.
The ultimate comparison is Killer instinct's colors. You earn the in game currency to get all customizable crap and ALMOST all the colors but 1 u have to get the characters level up more. Imagine if that last color was only available for a week or 2 and then you didn't know when u could get it. Like how trash Mk11s rewards are.
I just hope these challenges aren't purely skill based, as that would punish players who aren't as good even if they play the game every day and love to do so.
Hayden Hyde Nah I'm talking the edition that comes out next year when the inevitable Switch port is released and the Super version for regular consoles comes out at the same time so all the new shit they put into the Switch port is available for PS4 and XBONE
Some cosmetics are timed sensitive and once that window is missed you can never get it again. Like LoL Rivans champion skin to my knowledge is impossible to get anymore. But in most cases it's either seasonal or until a newer content wave is about to drop. Imo having it be "Get it or don't forever" adds a sense of pride and extra worth to the ppl who did get it is not a bad thing but that's only because I've been exposed to these methods for years and have accepted it. It does suck for ppl like Matt says have barring circumstances, but adding a dollar sign to the skin is not the route to go imo and degrades the "Prestige" and/or value of the skin when you know you only have to pay $9.99 and you can be just like everyone else.
Pander(ing) - 2. a person who caters to or profits from the weaknesses or vices of others. Conclusion - Captain Commando hasn't been in a game for years because he has been neglected by Capcom. Yet, Capcom know there is a demand for him and all they're giving people is a costume that you need to buy. Why isn't he in Marvel, Why isn't he in ANYTHING! They clearly have the rights etc...! If you are hungry and someone gives you a picture of food, does that make you satisfied?? Know when you are being played, please!!
I understand the economics behind it, but I completely agree with Matt, that's a kinda trashy business practice.
"All these crazy modes" that are in literally any other fighter
"Vanessa"?
The only CAPCOM "Vanessa" I know of......was "Vanessa Z. Schneider" from that old P.N.03 game.
It's like they took the list fans gave them for MvCI and put them in the wrong game

Magnum BadGuy at this point Capcom has to have a management restructure and have extra classes in choice value
BRO can you please upload the one where guy chihi talks about silent hill??

Is Vanessa from P.N-03 or did they get a name mixed up, or is the lady from Remember Me also Vanessa, I never got to play Remember Me?
Zeku is gonna be Hayato calling it right now, That's the only way you can make an excuse to have both Hayato and Hayato Black
How much you want to bit, fans are gonna give Capcom the middle finger and mod the costumes in the PC version?

SpeedBoost I dunno, I feel like after enough time they can reasonably believe nobody will care about that challenge anymore and would allow it.
BoF ryu is all that matters. i wonder which itll be though. my guess would be either 2 or 3.
That elusive target garbage was what kept me from buying Hitman, as well as the DRM stuff. What an amazing waste of Gary Busey's talent.

I'm still not buying SFV until the Super SFV Ultra edition comes out when it's an actually feature complete game.
NotAGoodUsername360 ... So SFV AE? I mean its not out yet but it has all the features I want.

Too little too late Capcom. That dog won't hunt.
You think so? Na, this is just the beginning. This is basically the games official launch, so many new players are gonna be getting into it.

Are costumes really enough for people? People are so easily pleased....FFS...
Yeah I want Capcom to come tickle my butthole in person for my money too
Shrugs~ getting hype for a Captain Commando costume is retarded. Pandering at the highest degree.
