15:25 Terry ate one of Peach's KO moves near the ledge at 140%, took a ledge guard turnip to the face, and Riddles didn't even need to burn his double jump to get back. Big N just couldn't stand for a single DLC character to have anything less than phenomenal recovery. Peach has to outplay Terry 3:1 in this matchup just because they gave him so. much. everything. Did you know Terry with GO can KO confirm Peach about 10% earlier than Kazuya's rage drive KOs her? Similar DLC BS at 16:44. This matchup is a dog's breakfast for Peach and Mute played it beautifully.
He literally uses his double jump when he's inching the blast zone. The edgeguard only failed because Mute did his forward air late. Plenty of characters could make that scenario back without double jump provided Mute missed the forward air every time. That's really not that good of a recover and I would say his recovery along with Ryu and Ken are extremely exploitable. Stop being a petulant whiner.
@@PervertedDoushe Oh, he did burn his double jump? I missed that. He must've been mashing to reduce the knockback. That only serves to strengthen the point I was trying to make, so thank you for pointing that out. As the VOD demonstrates, Terry's recovery is much, much better than stock characters like Ryu and Ken. Many people who don't know that much about the game mistakenly think his recovery is poor. Keep watching and you'll start to see it!
I can’t stand you smash people lol. Everyone LOVES Riddles before Kazuya saying he’s amazing and a top player. Then, Kazuya comes out and he continues to do well and somehow he’s “carried” even though he’s by far the most successful Kazuya. It is insane that people are saying he’s only at the top cause Kazuya exists when his Terry, Ken, Ryu, Roy, Wolf, and even Richter are arguably up there. 😂
Smash players are very reactionary and can’t separate players from the characters they don’t like
I don't think i hear this that much. Tho even riddles will admit that Kazuya carries to an extent. It's nothing to do with him but you can't act like Kazuya doesn't have a lot of cheese he can do. He pr much can be damn near invincible and then link into his invincible combo starter

SMH riddles is a good player but he’s definitely carried to the place he is by DLC privilege. Any character that’s not a dlc he plays is just not as clean and doesn’t get results. Obv he doesn’t have as many hours on them but you can’t deny the privilege of killing at absurdly low percents off down tilt, jab, and up air for terry and being able to EWGF in neutral 4 times in a row as Kazuya. Like wtf
DLC privilege is either a myth or a coping mechanism.
Riddles is the only person that has kazuya and terry on the map

All of them are good and most of them have comeback mechanics when they don’t need one. You’re insane if you don’t think they designed them with the intention of making them better than most the cast. His point was that Riddles is the ONLY and I repeat ONLY person on the planet with good Terry and amazing Kazuya results. That is not an opinion. Sure there are many Kazuya players at this point and he is a broken character, Riddles even achknowledges this, but he is the only Kazuya with this results in the world. Tea only uses him for some match ups.
