Because to fans there is a meaning behind it. They put so much time and effort into it, because it's what they love to do. But for the profssionals it's just "task + deadline = money", they probably don't even care about the show that much. Meat the deadline with a halfassed - for example the most recent promo - video to remind you of all the past happenings in the season. They just take some scenes that seemed to be key of the seasons and edit them together. For fans it's so much more and I think they/we who make stuff, whether it is videos, art, fanfic, fanmixes, etc should be treated with more respect by the media and the creators of shows and not make us feel guilty for "stealing" material to make it into something different" because that's not what it is. We don't steal, we appreciate and show our devotion to whatever show it is we love.

I am constantly trying to share with all who will pay attention to fan made videos that just blown my mind with how well they capture ours (the fans) idea of what's most significant. And the songs that couldn't fit more if tried!

I always wonder if the series will end with Lucifer returning, into SAMs body, and the scene with Lucifer/Sam and Dean in the garden, but Dean kills him. It would be really sad. But it how everything is kinda leaning to. Sam would rather die saving something, and stay dead, but Dean always stays alive, and he continues hunting or is finally has his happy ever after. I don't know, since the girl with the dog in season 7 or 8, I don't see Sam with a real happy ending, his see s to be death.
That would be so slick if they did end the Supernatural series with Sam and Dean somehow still making it back to that garden. That is true Sam is always willing to risk himself for humanity, while Dean would risk humanity for Sam Its crazy but still love it lol and I bet the ending be what we least expect
Actually supernatural was supposed end a while ago, when Sam jumped into hell and dean "got a new start" that was supposed to be it but the fans convinced the people behind supernatural to have more seasons
