Absolutely love the tint, I did the sides and back and left the lexan alone. I tried to tin the lexan on a previous machine and it was too dark to see out of well, also the lexan releases gas when it gets warm which resulted in bubbles in the tint.
@@justinwasil11 I hear the 870 is a beast. I personally enjoy mulching more than dirt work, but it is a lot harder on the machine, and requires a lot more maintenance. Bobcat has a nice debris management kit though, I’ve had to try and create my own for the Kubota.
Hello, i just wanted to ask how the Kubota is holding up for mulching? I heard they run hot more often and that the a/c dosnt cool very well in the summer. I would really appreciate any input or recommendations, im needing to make a decision soon on a machine. Thanks so much Randy Holmes.
Hey Randy, mine holds up fine. If I slack on my maintenance then it will start getting warm both inside and outside. I have custom made lift arm screens to help keep debris out and I have cut access holes in the AC condenser box so I can regularly clean the AC coils without removing them. I have to do a belly pan drop clean out about every 100 hours of running and that’s when I clean the AC coil as well. This routine is cumbersome but does keep my engine temps and cab temps down low even on a hot summer day! My chief complaint about the Kubota is no factory debris management guards, and a poor cab frame and cab door seal. A positive air flow setup would help with dust a lot also. I hope this helps! Good luck getting into mulching.
Love the work man. Nice skid, i love the kubota machine myself. Would you mind telling me where you bought your aftermarket cooling system and rear bumper (not sure if that is a winch on the back or just a guard) Also would you mind tell me how dark the tint is? I would like to set my machine up very similar when i get one
Thank you! The Aux cooling system is from Kubota, about $4k plus install. The bumper is from a fab shop in Grand Bay AL, $3500 plus your choice of winch, and as far as the tint, I don’t remember 100%, but I did it myself with ceramic tint from O’reillys Auto Parts, maybe 20%?? Just be sure not to tint the front lexan. Lexan off gasses so it will create bubbles in the tint and it’s really tough to see through in the evenings! 😂
Was also going to ask how you like the windows being tinted? it looks great

Just bought a 870 bobcat myself leaning more towards grading but considering mulching
Good looking setup I enjoy the content!!

Hey where did you get that rear bumper?
There’s a shop in Grand Bay AL, I’ll try and find the name for you.

Nice unit. Wanna get something like this soon.
It’s definitely a beast against 8” and smaller trees and brush. Are you leaning towards a particular brand of equipment?

Awesome
Thanks!
What mulching head are you using? Looks like it's really eating it up!
It’s a Denis Cimaf 180D. It’s spectacular!
Awesome
Thank you!
