I'm guessing this may probably be the last time we'll see these guys out together. A final goodbye from the Airplane, great to see them all speak and that Grace is wearing Paul's hat. Time to put on some of the incredible music they've left us with.

This award should have been given to the band when all of them were alive this should have happened 20 to 30 years ago

Shockingly overdue.. but so well deserved. Jefferson Airplane were the sound of San Francisco in the 1960s. They were the first group to sign with a major label. They were the first group to have two top 10 chart hits. They had the most amazing rhythm section with Jorma , Jack and Spencer. Marty Balin's soulful balladeer presence... as well as the rock of the group , Paul Kantner. Last but not least , the amazing original Queen of rock Grace Slick. Highly underrated even with Grace's very own humble assessment of her gifts. Grace took the Airplane to the heights that it achieved with her powerful contralto , killa' vibrato and timeless beauty. I am thrilled that the power trio got to receive this reward while they are still on the planet... 🌠 ✈️ 🎸 🌉

What a wonderful tribute to an incredible band. Joyous to see them together. Each member of Jefferson Airplane is a star in their own right. Truly a constellation band! Love seeing you smile at each other, together still! We Can Be Together!

it was groovy seeing Jorma, Grace and Jack get recognition for the music of those daze...I have met the band zillions of times since 1967...i used to go to the Jefferson Airplane/Jefferson Starship gigs in places like Griffith Park, Golden Gate Park, Central Park...

I know this may sound superficial, but I'm so glad they all still have their faces, even after more than half a century, they're easily recognizable (unlike most Hollywood celebs).
Long live the legendary Jefferson Airplane.

Could you imagine how cool it would have been to see Signe and Grace at that event together with Marty, Paul, Spencer, Jorma, and Jack? Glad to see it happen regardless.

Can't help but think that years ago the band would have scoffed at this, but today feel just a twinge of pride at being recognized.

As I watch various people in the background all walking in the opposite direction of the speakers, man, I'd be planting my feet firmly in front of Jorma and Jack and Gracie to catch everything they had to say. But then again the people most probably didn't even have a clue as to who they were...isn't life strange?! Still the fabric of this brilliant band along with their legacy will always remain. Each band member, emerging from a diverse background, as Jack pointed out, were yet able to produce an individual sound that was unique, confident and steadfast. That is what Pure Talent is all about.

They should have been on the Walk of Fame 20 to 30 years ago... I'm glad Grace is alive but I do not appreciate the way she engages in self depreciation when there are so few good singers out there she should be proud that she gave a lot of good music to many people ...she should not be engaged in self-depreciation... I'm still glad that Grace is alive and I hope she lasts at least another 10 years

i'm sure Grace is very proud of Airplane and her role in it but she's not the only member i've heard say they were indeed "very lucky".

Late seventies to the mid 1980s I thought Grace was the coolest woman out there in music or who held any kind of position in the media or entertainment industry
