Marvelous, young students of jazz playing this great and difficult art with a such Verve.I believe that Charlie Parker and all the others jazz musicians at Olympus mountain are very satisfied seeing and hearing them, and we from Brazil too.

Love the chart. Perfect tempo well executed. Yeah saxes-nice memorized soli. Wow this tenor soloist sounds like she's been listening to Zoot!! Great job. Feel, phrasing, rhythm and sound-it's all there. Best sax soloist I've heard from these girls.

    Some reasons in here.
The first reason is that it is to be same in case of an athlete commonly, but is that a smile is hard to appear when they unify mind and do their best. The performance might have indication to be different from the athletic, but they were the groups such a tendency
And In fact, The BFJO2009 was the last day.
Therefore, they might have wanted to finish a performance in splendid quality.
It was a finale concert one hour before the dissolution of the band.

@Kalisis07 It is said that One Stage is worth than a hundred times of practice. Their practice room are covered with sound-adsorbing material as like as recording studio. It makes them naturally to be able to get a loud sound from the usual. Please check their practice room in this video, "watch?v=4ors3uH9cD8".

I agree here. In order to project in a "dead room" -the players must fill the horns and produce a big sound. Then this translates on to the stage with a solid ,projected and full sound. Always been a trademark of BFJO over the years. Nice tenor solo here-sound like she has studied hard the be-bop style and her runs are always musical and swing like crazy.

@cbarnes94 this song is not swing originally, it's bebop. You should make sure you know what you're saying before you start giving lessons to someone else. I'm not a big band lover but I think they did a good rendition. Open your mind, brother... jazz is about freedom! :)

    アレンジがすごい。ブレッカーみたいな節回しだけどテナーソロは自分で考えてやってたらすごい。

I'm confused, these lil children made our band sound like a bunch of idiots. Maybe we should adopt their practice and work ethic.

@Cbarnes94 you just sounded really ignorant . For future reference I am into jazz alot . I've been playing it my whole life . Maybe you should ask your teacher what jazz is . Just because they play it a little different doesn't mean you should bash on them . I played this piece with my HS jazz band and we took it maybe 20 clicks faster . A song has lyrics this is a piece or like the guy said before your comment a chart.
