Bro when you said "i'm doing so good" and showed a 5 minutes stopwatch I felt _personally_ attacked. I was so proud of myself back then. I'm down under two minutes now!
I average 30 seconds. A cubing tip is when you're doing f2l. Solve one pair and then the opposite pair. This works because you don't have to look behind the cube to see which edge it is. And thats how I average 30 seconds. If you keep learning more and more cubing tips like this you could get way faster.
I remember back 5 years ago when I got interested in cubing my mom bought me a rubiks brand cube. And for quite some time I didn't event suspect there were better cubes. Until a year later I met someone who was solving the cube, ofc I asked for a race and lost with my unimpressive 44 secs with begginers, after that I discovered a whole new world with different types of cubes.

I still love patterns 😂 and yes, used to blame cube but yeah the turning was terrible and with my new cube i went from 36 seconds to 24 seconds (guess i am still beginner)
it’s funny cuz i did the same thing, i was at around a 55 average with a 20 dollar cube off of scs then i bought a GAN 11 M Pro and got my time down to a 17 pb lmfao
Problem was that was a regular hammer, not a sledgehammer. Rookie mistake. Make sure to set it on the ground and get a good windup too. Remember, it's all about momentum, not force.
For the new cubers out there that think the cube is slowing you down I averaged 30 seconds on a modified rubik’s brand it has generally nothing to do with the cube
I haven't cubed in a reaaally long time.. I avged maybe 22secs back then. It's okay I guess.. Anyways I saw your vid in my recommended and your video is soooo entertaining LMAO!😂😂😂 I thoroughly enjoyed that😁🤣🤣 SLEDGEHAMMER◻️🔨🥴🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I’m a new cuber but before I could solve a cube I had practiced solving one side so once I could solve a 3x3 i had a time of 3 minutes, now I can solve a cube in about one minute and twenty secinds
What is your average on the Rubik’s cube?
35 seconds
About 35 seconds. A little above.
On a 2x2 I average 25 seconds
3x3 my best average was 10.41. For 2x2 my best average was like 3.61 seconds. I normally average like 11 or 12 seconds for 3x3.
About 1 minute
i think its wholesome when beginners are really proud of their PBs even when talking to pros

Lol I used to type "Rubix cube" and wasted hours thinking I could solve with only two moves.
Truee
*I think we’ve all done that*
I did type rubix but I didn’t waste hours doing the 2 move sequence thing because I didn’t want to just spend hours turning a cube
I typed it rubix cube but I didn’t try 2 moves.
rubix instead of rubiks is better for me
Honestly, the New Cube DOES make you faster, if you transition from a dollar store rubik's cube to an actual speedcube.
Or from a Rubik's brand to a dollar store one, I got this one at a dollar store ages ago and I'm pretty sure it's just an old speedcube
This was literally me when I started cubing. I actually did the 2 move *cubing hack* and it would never solve, I wasted so much time LOL

I just learned how to solve one today! I feel smart as hell rn
nice. I started like 3-4 months ago and I would recommend learning f2l early. also, learn to be color neutral if you want to get serious with cubing.

Maybe I'm a noob, but... Patterns are fun sometimes, man! :D
Dude just hit all my deepest insecurities
This channel is too underrated
I agree
You miss the "thinking they are best cubers but in slowmo"

Edit: See My Shorts on my channel not videos because I got 1 minute there
Shoutout to all my cubers with chronic pain. Because you also played percussion from middle school to college
This man needs 15k subs! These are so funny keep up the good work❤❤ 👑👑
Damn I’ve been casually doing the Rubik’s cube for so many years now and I still kind of turn it with my whole hand… 1 min 5 second average lol
I guess this makes me an intermediate cuber. I am fast with beginner method but my F2L is still very slow
Same here
3:25 it did not work because you used a regular hammer
When he went after saying sledgehammer I already got it 😂😂😂😂😂💜
I think that also beginner cubers be like removing the stickers and putting them well.
I dont even care how fast i solve it, it just feels satisfying even solving it. My average is around 8 minutes and i dont really want to change it much
When I first got my cube I was always looking at tricks to solve Rubik’s cube
My best (recorded) time was 2:23.94, on a Rubik's brand cube, with the beginner method, relatively quickly
Love how he still moves the cube with whole hand
I still love patterns 😂 and yes, used to blame cube but yeah the turning was terrible and with my new cube i went from 36 seconds to 24 seconds (guess i am still beginner)
Took me a whole afternoon to rebuild the first time one piece popped because I thought it would be more fragile

Thinking your rubix cube was broken when it popped was so relatable
Pun intended

For the new cubers out there that think the cube is slowing you down I averaged 30 seconds on a modified rubik’s brand it has generally nothing to do with the cube
Unless the cube is very bad like dollar store cubes, then you are correct, because you will adjust your turning style to that cube
FIrst time solved the cube in my life and this video got reecommmended which is quite relatable.
Everything in his video happened today this is by far the most disrespectful accurate video. 😂
The amount of enthusiasm
I remember solving a cube for about 4 minutes and i was so proud 😭
I'm only guilty for the third and last one. Who turns a rubix cube with their whole hand tho 😭
the patterns got me 💀 even now when i'm bored i just make patterns cause pretty
I used to type rubix cube a lot too, I didn’t know it was Rubik’s Cube back then when I didn’t know how to solve a 3x3
I felt attacked when he said “spells rubix with an X”
Beginner cuber would never use speedcube timer. They would just use typical stopwatch XD
Good video
MANS BROUGHT AN ACTUAL SLEDGE HAMMER

He turns so ruff that a Rubin brand broke lol
Because he used a Rubix brand in his solveing sections

My cubing friends warned me about the 2 move solve, so I saved tons of time
luckily i learned early on that the 2 move solve didn’t work
Us newbies gotta start somewhere. My best time is 3 minutes 47 seconds. Not everyone devotes their entire life to this.
Gg. My best time is 3:53. But it was also my first run actually timing it
It's rare to see a Rubik's brand that don't have a lock ups

I actually blame my cube for not being fast lol.
the only cube i currently own is my mums from the 80s and its really stiff so i have to turn it with my whole hand 😭
2:32 me😂
Imagine seeing a beginner solve a rubies cube in 40 seconds
Hey I'm a beginner i have to do wrist turns cus I have a very bad cube that is really stiff and i still average 1 min 30 seconds
i could never be happy with myself if i got 2 mins
If i messed up that bad, I'd just take the dnf, like a 2 min would be just as bad
For comedic effect you totally should have smashed a cube with a sledge hammer
I died when my friend who avarages 3 minutes bought a 60 dolar gan.
I remember when I was averaging 5 minutes... *sigh* I thought I was fast.
I didnt even know 2 move solve existed 💀
