I feel bad for Bendy. The poor demon did nothing wrong. He's never lied to them. In part 1, he said that he wanted to go to the surface just to learn more about it and he was tired of living in the underworld. He helped Cuphead and Mugman escape. And, the whole time he's been in the surface he's proved that he has no evil intentions. But, he's being treated poorly because he's a demon and according to the mortals 'all demons are bad.' I know it was never mentioned so I can't quote it but, that's the sterotype I'm getting from this.
Exactly. He's saved Cuphead and Mugman's lives twice now (First on the first video where they're running and Bendy warns them that they're about to run straight into guards, second by getting them out of Hell) and I can't even figure out why. What did he need them for? I mean, they boarded up the doors, but Bendy could've done that himself and then gone to draw the symbol. Sure, you could argue that it needed to happen at the same time because of the fact that the guards were only a few seconds away from catching them, but I'd bet the fact that the portal was taking three souls made it take longer to load. Plus the Devil wouldn't be so angry and so hellbent on finding him if the cups weren't there, so Bendy probably wouldn't have had them on his tail in the first place. I really can't see what Bendy needs the cups for And oh, absolutely, I'm definitely getting prejudice off of this, I mean, I'm not just seeing fear, I'm seeing disgust. Both of which are prejudice, one is just, in my eyes, less justifiable. If it was just fear of another issue with the Devil happening again, I'd understand that; that's caution, that's why you don't get into cars with strangers. But you don't treat strangers like shit, y'know? You don't act as if being in the presence of a stranger makes you want to throw up (exempting social anxiety, that's an entirely separate subject)

The only thing is he loves this world, so he wouldn't destroy it. However, he might go after Cuphead and Mugman's homes and souls Edit: It just occurred to me, however, that he might be the type to go "If I can't have it, no one can." I'm not sure. I wouldn't be surprised whether the creator when down that route or they went with more of a "This world doesn't deserve to suffer because of you" type of thing, deciding not to destroy the world. Well cuphead did try to reason with mugman about letting bendy stay for a bit, so currently out of the two (he clearly still doesn’t want to drag bendy back to the underworld) mugman is the most ‘freaking out’ about the situation.
Well that’s the thing, I’m sure Bendy already knows about the Devil himself having a casino in Inkwell. And he already knows about what went down with Cups and Mugs. He knows what happened, he just doesn’t think it applies to him.

After doing some thinking, I would thought that the deal wasn’t totally fair but Bendy has a point. They (Cuphead and Mugman) didn’t listen and basically heard “ get out of the underworld and go to the surface. They really didn’t want to be in the underworld cause they were feared they would be killed or whatever by the demons or the Devil himself so Bendy got them out of a tough spot. But seriously Bendy clearly loves the surface and hated living where he was before and wanted to build a house and it’s kinda unfair to Bendy that Cuphead wanted to break their deal. I have more to say but the comment would be really long.

Hi! Update for everyone waiting for Part 5! So, as it turns out, the creator of this comic is taking a break from the BATIM/Cuphead fandom. They're not abandoning the comic, we'll just be waiting a while, that's all. Just be patient, the time will come, just not as soon as some of us would like. And that's ok. We can be patient I just thought I'd spread this around because I know I've been a touch impatient because I've been really looking forwards to this, and I wanted to spread the word to others in the same boat Edit: Nevermind, then, their Tumblr says it's discontinued. Honestly Bendy really was being honest with Cuphead at the beginning, yet Cuphead didn't pay close attention to what Bendy said. I don't blame Bendy for wanting to be free. Having to live 12 years in a cave of hell isn't a nice childhood. Though in BitIM Bendy lives for 30 years in the studio, so that is honestly worst.
Imagine it does, he ends up dripping ink everywhere and he can't get it out. Devastated that he's tainted the world he loves so much, he willingly goes back to hell. Given the type of story this is, I'd guess something happens that causes Cuphead and Mugman to go back down and convince him that it's ok, it was an accident and he can stay up there. Basically that it's not too big of a deal
D'oooh, poor Bendy. He reminded me of a kid running around after the butterfly and not knowing what an apple was. It makes me wish Cuphead and Mugman could've explained to Bendy about the casino with the devil running it and getting so many soul contracts from many of the people on the island. Still, now I can't wait for a part 5. I felt the ending was heart breaking.
I mean, Bendy knows about the Devil. I just don't think he's made the connection that the cups see HIM as just an earlier version of the Devil. Bendy doesn't understand why anyone has an issue with him there since he hasn't done anything wrong (or maybe that's just me, I dunno)

Hilda doesn't seem to understand that Bendy is infact, ENTIRELY innocent (apart from LITERALLY betraying the Devil (who Bendy probably hated to begin with)! and with the risk of Bendy being seen by the other former debtors, it could potentially cause everybody to no longer trust Cuphead and Mugman as they could most likely see Bendy as a major threat due to him being and ink demon... Mugman seems to have COMPLETLY forgotten about the fact that bendy isn't like most other demons, cuz Mugs seems to forget the *ink* part of Bendy's species (the *ink* demons)! Cuphead originally seemed to see Bendy as harmless in part 3 but after listening to his brother AND Hilda... Cuphead was eventually forced to admit defeat and (in the way i see it) reluctantly agrees to try to convince Bendy to go back down to the underworld! (which goes 100% wrong when Bendy realizes THEIR true intentions!) I'm not sure about the first two, but I have confidence that Bendy won't destroy the surface. He loves the place. The only way I can imagine him destroying it is if he did go to back to hell and before he went he basically has a "fine, if I can't have it, no one can" sort of moment
i feel like if Bendy does go back the Devil would soon find out what he did and kill him. Bendy even said helping them is a death sentence but he did it anyways, fully aware his own life is on the line
