You have to adapt based off who you have in the squad and how prone they are to injury if their muscles are overworked or if their bones are brittle. It’s like when certain coaches come to a proper brexit style of team; and they try to play out from the back or try to play some eccentric type of football quickly. It’ll never work, and you have to adapt as a coach and a manager. A lot of coaches keep forgetting that they are managers of these players as well. Its number 1 priority to look at the short term before any long term, its why poch stupidly saying ok to letting broja go just because “nkunku can also play up top” was a horrible decision. Funnily enough this point goes right back to the original one, because players like nkunku are injury prone, and he didn’t think that thru

Gallagher is clubs captain at the moment and I believe his contribution is greater than Chaboba's. I remember complaints last season about no banner for Kante and I said then for those complaining - pick up your bums from sofas, collect money and make banner. You can do it. Add some logic, Younes? I am lost in why people have such a strong opinion on Gallagher getting a banner. Isn't this the freedom of being a fan? Displaying your support and favor for the team but also for certain players. We don't all have to like the same player. The fans who want to put up a banner for Gallagher appreciate him enough to want to create a banner for him. What's wrong with that? Why does the rest of the fanbase feel like they have a right to whom those fans create a banner for when they made the banner from their own pockets?Those fans wanted to create a banner for Gallagher, and they pulled their money and time for it, let them. If others feel so strongly that another player should have gotten a banner, they can pull their resources and create a banner for that player. That's your freedom and right as a fan. Instead of feeling like you are owed a consideration on what other fans chose to spend their money on. We played a good 2nd half against Aston Villa it’s just unfortunate we had a stinker of a 1st half. That is so ironic cos usually we play alright in the 1st half and come out in the 2nd half looking like they ave all took drugs Valium. Selling Gallagher in the first place is already gonna leave a sour taste in the mouth of the fans, and then on top of that selling him, an academy boy, to Spurs of all places will be a great way to make 50 or so million in the short term but also a great way to get the fans to turn against the owners completely. For me he is currently the best player we have besides Palmer, he tries his best every game, and in a tough moment when both captain and vice captain are injured, he has stepped into the leadership role and is growing into it every game. Sure there are some flaws but he is still young and can become one of our best midfielders if we keep him, which is why i hope that the owners and directors dont sanction his sale.
Worth pointing out if we do beat Tottenham that both Newcastle and United haven't been great this season either and we'd only need to win 1 more game than them for us to get europa. True that it is out of our hands but I can see both of them dropping points, we just need to pull it together and keep the focus for a full 90 minutes

Arguably Younes, both teams are work in progress. They both have new gameplans, new managers and young players who are still unsettled. I can see this match being a 2-2 or 3-3 draw. It's a bitter rivalry because essentially, it's bragging rights as to which team is historically the second strongest club in London after Arsenal. Good luck to both clubs in 2024-2025. Acrimony does not benefit either club...
