For anyone who is curious- putting a horseshoe on a horse is not painful. The outer walls of hooves are made out of the same stuff as our fingernails. As long as the farrier knows what they are doing, it is harmless. The horse might try to move away, but horses don’t like balancing one three legs, plus they cannot see what the farrier is doing. Hopefully you learned something new from this =)
