I don’t remember when animal jam got sold and what company owns it now, but whoever does is really getting money hungry.
In most cases they are money hungry but I can get behind why they upped the price on animals.

The void-looking thing in the den is called "The Orb." It's a new alpha item, presumably based off of that giant dome thing that was recently constructed in Las Vegas.

One of my favourite things about the pigs is their ears, and how earrings look on them. They’re just really well animated and they did a really good job :]
I thought it was one of the best animals due to it being designed the same way as classic.
The dance for the pig is choppy.
They are also very short lengthwise. In classic the body is slightly longer. It's odd since i thought they were modelling it off of classic. But they clearly didnt and it just looks really similar. The pig also rolls over instead of swimming in mud. The rolling over animation is super cute! But not from classic.
I still think it's adorable!!! It's just a shame its not actually modelled after classic. The only animal i know that's modelled exactly like classic is the raccoon. The raccoon has the same exact animations and model.
It is necessary to take sapphires out of the economy to combat inflation. They are helping the overall stability of the economy, so I am not mad.

1:14 yeah a major plus to AJC is the neck items look really nice on the pig, I really feel like 3D did a disservice to the pig just with how things work there.

Even worse though, in AJC, the Pig is 5 diamonds as opposed to the 10 of other animals. And it’s nonmember.
It was customary for the AJC smaller animals to be 5 diamonds
It’s understandable considering how much the value of sapphires has dropped significantly. Before shops I would rarely have over 35 sapphires, but now I stay around 40k. If something has less value, companies need to sell more of it to make a profit. In fact a 30 sapphire increase is quite generous.

@@Offthehookfan2009 If you’re referring to the 30 sapphire increase, it’s because there are several ways to get that amount of extra sapphires.
1. Phantom drops can give up to 20 sapphires
2. Daily logins have a one in three chance of 5 sapphires
3. Monthly logins can give 10 or 15
4. Sapphire drops, while less common, usually range from 3-15 sapphires
5. Shoveling can give an extra sapphire or two as well
6. Shops
7. The nonogram game
8. Gem tree
The only one of these I had when I started playing was the daily login. Because of all of these added ways to make sapphires, they’re less valuable
40k?! Dude how?! I can barely get 1000 sapphires regularly! The highest amout I have had was 10k!! Please educate me😭😭😭

@@Violet-eo6tw Honestly, it was mostly luck for me. I got back into playing when shops were first released, and no one really knew the worth of anything. That year I would find stuff like circling phantoms or ghost shoes for 15 sapphires. I got about 5k-10k saps just from finding crazy deals. Some other things I tried:
-collecting sapphire potions. Takes 15 mins per potion and it’s pretty low focus in later levels so I can watch something or use a separate account at the same time.
-trading masterpieces for pets. Obviously only works if you know how to draw, but I could get anywhere from 45 to 400 sapphire worth of pets for each mp
-shoveling a lot. Earned me 3 alpha chests and a whole lot of primary ccs that can be turned into frost crystals
-phantom drops. Super low focus. Just hit it twice and do something else
-getting a bunch of level 5 pets and sending them on expeditions for saps/DNA
That’s just some of the stuff I do. I’m considering making a video on it cause there’s not much I can say in a YT reply
Also, I don’t believe you mentioned it in the video, but my friend and I were chatting and she actually pointed out that in the clothing pig bundle, there is only 1 clothing set instead of the usually 2 clothing sets along with the animal. And from what I remember, the clothing bundle is the same price at it has always been. Though I’m not too good with newer animal jam news since I only recently started to get back into playing the game. So I may be wrong! Just thought I’d say haha

I think the neck items work the same on AJc pigs, since PlayWild pigs are basically the same model. Maybe a little bit improved, but generally it's just identical to the classic one. That's kinda a bummer, because when they brought back kangaroos, they made a brand new model for it, that was way different than the old one.
And I can understand them raising the price of animals to 150 sapphs, but what I don't accept is that since the Asiatic Lion, they started releaseing bundles with only one clothing set. Yeah, sure, you can choose the color variant of it, but it's still the same price of 250 sapphires for an animal and just one clothing set.

Originally I wasn't excited for the pigs, but I purchased 1 and started to dress it up.
Now I love it, I got myself a phantom pig, took a picture and I shall forever treasure it!!
This really sucks. I think they shouldn't be unnecessarily raising the price like that and although im a member, I still think that isn't fair at all for non members as its a lot harder for them to get sapphires. Ho hate to ajhq, but I think they're getting a little too greedy for money since they're also making bundles that cost real money. If this 180 sapphire keeps going on, I think lots of non members and other aj players will quit the game since when I wasn't a member, it took me ages just to get only 100 sapphires and I'm sure this is the same for other non members and now that they'll need to get an extra 30 sapphires just for a new animal, they might quit.
This is just my opinion, please don't attack me or go after me.
I'm also a lil disappointed about the pet rock too, idk why they didnt make a new pet or at least bring back a good one u know
I don't feel like the extra 30 saps will make ppl quit, but mostly like all the other things happening, such as the super box and paid bundles.

The pigs, I think they're cute. Although, Aj is becoming money hungry. I'd say they should not make it that expensive, but ok sure. They are adding a lot of members only things, and also those boxes. I think the price for animals is ok I guess, although me and probably many others are not doing the best with sapphires, and I'm now contemplating buying membership because I can't buy ANYTHING with sapphires, and also, I was GRINDING SO MUCH to get the bat eared fox when it came out. It took me 2 weeks to get it, because there isnt many ways to get sapphires. And now animals are 30 sapphires more? WHAT? So I think this is pretty annoying for lots of players. I think this is an overall good update though. Haha sorry for this long paragraph of random things.

Its seems greatly unfortunate prices inflated but its not the fault on anyone. Sapphires are becoming much more deflated in value most likely due to playerbase.

to be fair animal jam has become a play to win game so I wouldnt argue if den and pet prices were to also rise coz now if u see theres lots of new jammers with like lots of animals which is good for them but sorta annoying for people who actually took their time to work for an animal. but generally speaking ajhq is probably still in their money hungry phase as cinder didnt work out so theyre tryna make kids beg their parents to waste a bit or extra money.overall its really not big of a deal considering its only 30 sapphires extra as u can legit earn like lots of sapphires in a day
I feel like the pig is the best animal to compare AJC and AJPW to show the pros and cons of both games. For instance, on AJPW the neck items tend to look pretty bad on the pigs, but on AJC it's hard to find neck items that look bad on the pigs. The animations for the action in AJPW can look a little lackluster and floaty at times, because the engine and the model used in said engine for the game doesn't really lend itself well to those more exaggerated animations used in AJC. There's almost a squash and stretch type thing going on with the pig in AJC. However the pig on AJPW gives more unique pattern options based on wild pigs and the relatives pigs have. Classic could've easily added this but they didn't, so it's not really a flaw with how Flash works, it's moreso the pattern idea wasn't thought of until recently. A better example would go back to the animations, specifically the play animation. On classic a giant mud puddle appears and the pig swims around in it, however on PW the pig just rolls around. Both are good and cute animations that represent the animal well, but on PW you get more freedom with designing looks without having to worry about the actions the animal does interfering with what your animal is wearing. Trust me, AJC has a lot of visual glitches that cause clothes to float if your animal does a specific action. Overall, just like both games, the pig is really good, it just all depends on how I'm feeling that day when it comes to which version I prefer.
The pyramid actually has more rooms which you can access by going into the sarcophagi in the attic room
I think the void in the den is just kind of a bug, I've already seen like all sorts of glitches in other games such as texture images just appearing or the sky being green, soo I think that void is kinda supposed to be like a room that wasn't meant to put into the den but rather under the map or somewhere (that room was myb used for making item displays work properly, like of you'd tap on an item, you'd see the room with the item in the middle) but ofc it could be anything else but it didn't seem to be supposed to be there so idk (yeah sorry for making this comment so long I can't really explain things)

Has anyone got hacked recently bc last night i randomly lost over 1900 sapphires my pet sitter, glider,circling phantoms and more idk how it happened since i never told anyone about it outside the game. Does anyone have any advice on what to do now bc im quite upset and not sure what to do at this point?
Honestly. They should bring back new and old animal toys and show commercials of it and more animal jam products then they will make money and get people into the game my opinion.
