Listened to the legend Ray Davis on 88.5 WAMU Washington D.C. The voice of Bluegrass in our Nations Capitol.

A veritable potpourri of Reno and Harrell. Six of these tunes were included on Don Reno's 'Profile' album (Wango LP 113). I'm especially entranced by the rare lead vocals by Don and Ronnie. And Don's lead guitar work. His totally non-Scruggs banjo treatment of 'The Last Mile' is wonderful.

OMG. This is fantastic. A veritable orgy for the ears. Two bluegrass masters in their prime recorded by the Master DJ himself. Thanks so much Jason for finding this and posting it. I don't know how you got it, but I learned last week from Scott Brannon that Ray's wife is in the process of dismantling the infamous basement studio, so you may want to reach out to her to see if Ray left anything by/with Don unpublished. And we'd love to see you up our way some time. I'm going to talk to the people at Lucketts about getting you up for a visit!

WOW! Great stuff, Jason. Not that easy to find, I would imagine. Thanks for sharing--something you do quite liberally with Reno's stuff. I, for one, am most grateful.
Harrell's vocals, he my fave Reno pairing, sound absolutely at their peak, here. What a set of pipes.

Jason, where did you get the photo that has written at the top, " memorial for Robby and Chuck fair grounds Columbus November 28, 1967,". Chuck Cordle was my brother.
