It's a shame they used the fully riveted body version of the Ground FX. It's probably one that didn't get the benefit of being saved overall from that version being scrapped as it didn't really have a "Premium" purpose. Unlike other pop-off bodies castings (like the Mini Cooper).
I agree. Unfortunately, that tool died in 2009 before being replaced with this one in 2010. The thing that saved the Mini is that the Pop Off body continued to be produced alongside the one that was riveted shut.
Dang... did I mispronounce it? Old habits die hard. And yes, I should open them. I am actually working on a new setup that will increase my video production. Just working on too many things at this time or else it would be done by now. Hopefully soon!
There would be additional licensing needed to reproduce a real version of a car. Would it really be worth it unless it was a well-known or record breaking vehicle? I do feel like this set is very believable as to cars you could see on the Salt Flats. With that said, if i selected the vehicles for this set, they would probably be all different.
The hot rods look great 😊😊😊
Agree!
Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Ground FX rules!! What up Brad!
That thing is drag builders dream I'm sure we will see a lot of this car.

It is cool! I will have to look and see how many they have made. Love the deco on this one!
@@GR8FULSAMN10TADR you mean hanging on the pegs? Then yes...plenty to be seen for certain.
The cards in my case we also bent slightly from how they packed them.
Good to know it wasn't just mine.
Just some protectors and that should flatten out over time.
Going to rip these bad boys open and put them in the collection instead. Muahahahahahaha
@orangetrackdiecast there you go

Love Solar Reflex but im not sure it fits this set that much.
Edit: Solar Reflex released in 2007
Thank you. I realized afterwards it was 2007 not 2003.
I'm pretty sure that thunderbird is going to be a track shredder. It probably won't be long and we'll see what builders do with it.

I wouldn't doubt that!
Willys pronounced “willis”
Also you should open them, we know you open them anyway haha

ground FX will be the fastest in the salt racing
I would assume since it probably can't turn. Hahahahaha.
Crap set.
Funny, not one of them is an actual representation of a real Bonneville racer. The Ground FX might be close as a fantasy casting but no dice.
