To me its the ability to blend the wet and dry that make it work. I also think it needs a harmonically dense source to get the best use a synth may not have enough of that to generate interesting tones from the sy-200.
I'm not sure if you still own this pedal but it'd be awesome if u could test that it also sends midi note out information when aying guitar?? ALot of people don't even know about the midi note input you're showcasing here. This is some really powerful stuff!
I used to do that too back in the day hooking my synths up to the weirdest pedals on earth.. never really achieved much success.. I did notice that everything that ran on battery's had a distinct hum when recording.. mabey improper grounding on my part?
If I was to see one show up used for a good price I'd get it but I would not go looking to buy it other then use for My DAWless rig, as all these sounds are easy to replicate in My DAW.
Thank you for a great demo. I have one, but what I don't like, is synth sounds that are really impractical, loads of organs, Gimmicky sound effects, flutes etc. I want synth sounds, isn't that why we bought one?. This is me. I know not everyone is t not the same and may think the opposite. But for me, a synth should be a synth.
Well done on this demo. Gave a good insight to what a musician can get out of it.

i love synth + effects pedal series
Interesting, but I would have liked to see how the pedal behaves when using a guitar with the pedal to drive an external synth.
It'd be interesting to hear this added to the original synth voice. So you hear the sound of the Monologue plus the SY300 on top. Just need a mixer.
There’s actually a mix function built into the pedal. I should have demonstrated that. Sorry, my bad!
Crazy gear, nothing else to do on saturday, so well done, does this baby work on a Keyboard or a mixer effect channel? Think so... Musical regards 😎👍😅
yep it could be patched in to a mixer for sure.
Hi gearfacts can you please make a video about the Roland e 5 or Roland e 70
Nice 👍

I only had it for a day sorry!

Hmm, I had the opposite problem. But I know the electrics in my home are fully noisy :(
Sounds great 👍

Can't ague with that, other than to say that some ppl might want the portability and ergonomics of the pedal format :)
@@gearfacts True but a laptop isn't exactly huge and heavy to carry around if it is then use full DAWs on a Tablet or Phone.
@@HOLLASOUNDS true :)
Thanks for that kind of vidéos..effects pedals with synth or drum machine.👍👍👍‼️‼️‼️‼️
No problem!
Did you trigger those synths with the guitar using the sy-200?
yep
Шикарный обзор интересной педали!
Спасибо :)
Классная примочка!

I totally hear what you're saying. It's the kind of purchase that could easily end up being regretted. Test thoroughly!
