    Great video! Can you insert multiple views into Power BI at one time through the "Get Data" icon? If so how? Thanks in advance!

    thanks, connecting via view, would it affect performance and very slow ? my dwh admin asked me to push all the calc back to dwh engine and only return the results, not load to power bi and then do calcs...... im not expert but my understanding is if tables are used in connection, they are extracted first and stored in laptop memory right ? thats why if its millions of rows it can be very slow, is it the same with connect via view , also slow as tables ?

      No. This is good practice

      @@AnalyticswithNags so via ODBC connections, tables are extracted and stored in laptop memory, which is not ideal. But connecting via advanced editor is using VIEWS , so performances are much better ?

    Have one question on this topic. Suppose the Name of table is changed again by someone then do we need to change that table name again in SQL statement where we already have created a view?

    • @AnalyticswithNags
      @AnalyticswithNags  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. Changing view simple than the doing it in power bi

    Hi, suppose if we have many tables for a project do we need to access all of them through Views?

    • @AnalyticswithNags
      @AnalyticswithNags  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @AnalyticswithNags
      @AnalyticswithNags  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No. Power bi can’t write back anything in source
