The rain run off should be going toward your yard instead of the house. Over time the water will work its way into your basement. Try to divert the water but It's coming along & its gonna look nice.
Thank you so much for this feedback! We were thinking about a water system to divert the water. Definitely appreciate your insight!
Oh my ! Your little one digging and dancing was so cute ❤️❤️
Thank you!!! She loves participating in projects lol
Great job on everything ... especially the leveling! You made a tedious project look do-able! I agree about diverting the water runoff away from the house. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!!! Very tedious but super rewarding. Yes the run off is super important. With the gazebo we’ve been fortunate to divert the water from falling directly onto the patio and with the retaining wall backfilled with gravel stones, we haven’t run into any issues with water. Fingers crossed that continues 🫶 Welcome to the channel!!!
Great video! This will help a lot of people! Next stop, diy pergola!
I’m glad this video was helpful! Next stop gazebo 😊 stay tuned for next weeks video
Nicely done ❤!!! But what i would tweak is get the patio area put downpaving joint sand and mist with aome water. To fill in line gaps between each one.
Thank you! I failed to add that part in the video after we added the polymeric sand we lightly dizzied it with water. But I must ask, is the polymeric sand and joint sand different? Thanks for the tips! 🫶🏼
Great vid! Looks good.
Thank you!!
Amazing work looking great 😊
Thank you!!
Amazing job with the patio and video. I knew you really did all the work in y'all home projects 😂
😂😂😂 you just have to know your strengths, Keenen is the muscles and the one that keeps me sane throughout the project. I genuinely enjoy putting things together though.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Beautiful job.
Thank you!!
You are a good team.
Thank you!!!! Knowing one another’s strengths really helps with getting projects done.
LOL I'm surprised you could drive that vehicle with all that weight! Nice job.
😂😂😂 I won’t lie to you my car was a trooper. I looked up before hand how many pounds my car could haul 😂 I think I was pushing close to the limit.
Nice job!
Thank you!!
@@PartofMeJR you’re welcome.
Nice
Thank you!
That was a lot of work but it looks great
lol it was. Thank you so much!!!!
Do you have a pitch fork? It will break ground better than a shovel.
We did not but will definitely keep that in mind for future projects.
I think you need a tiller
lol I agree. We thought about renting one from Home Depot.
