For functional transfers it all depends on the patient and their abilities! So you need to look at the diagnosis and then how the patient is functioning. For instance, can they use their arms to help push up or are they unable to move at all? That all depends on the patient. Once that is figured out then it will be easier to decide if you provide minimal, moderate or maximum assistance. Hope this helps you!
