VYM has been a win for me because I picked up 400 shares at $78 July 2020 and that amount of shares gave $339 for June's quarter. On average it's been about a $100 a month of income from this fund and I'm still up $10k as of today. Also own SCHD and love them both.

I hold SCHD and SCHY - not for the dividends, but I've found SCHD to be the best way of accessing the profitability and investment factors. It also adds some large cap value to my portfolio, which would otherwise be underweight, since I tilt towards small cap value.

Solid video, thank you for sharing... I am a much bigger fan of following through on Bogle's advice or Buffett's too for that matter in focusing on broad market funds versus pure growth or pure value.. Rationale is to catch them all and capitalize on growth while remaining safe with value... You cannot lose, VTI and/or VTSAX!

Does SCHD payout dividends in fractional shares or only shares in whole numbers. I am not looking for slices. I am just looking too reinvest the shares in a DRIP in fractional amounts and whole shares as well.

They pay fractional as long as your dividend is higher than $0.01.
